Serves organic coffee, sandwiches with whole wheat bread--pressed, sealed, and toasted in a ''jaffle' press. Many organic ingredients used. Vegan options available for all menu items. Overpriced

I paid more than what I would pay for a vegan coffee in Sydney. It doesn't even taste special. It was a small cup and should just be worth half its price at the most.

Pancake was great though. But its the usual capitalistic restaurant that takes advantage of the word vegan to excessively mark up their price.

Nice place

Nice little cafe with decent coffee. Had Filipino breakfast which was nice. Sadly their Wi-Fi is very very weak so we didn't stay for longer as we wanted to do some work.

Treat yoself

After subsisting mostly on dodgy street food for the past few months, decided to treat myself to a decent cappuccino and apple tart. Both were exceptional - the capp super foamy and the tart not too sour or sweet. Only slight issue it was difficult to eat/cut just using the fork 😂 maybe could do with a little knife too?
The guy told me that everything in the cafe is vegan, so I'll definitely be back tomorrow for something savoury. Once you treat yourself it's hard to go back to street food...

Pros: Everything vegan, Delicious cakes, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Little pricey?, Need a knife to cut the tart or it slips apart

Great Cafe & Breakfast

Great place for vegan coffee. And the pancakes are good if you're looking for something sweet. But I would highly recommend the classic Filipino breakfast with vegan tapas and tofu scramble. If you want to show a meat eater what a vegan breakfast can taste like bring them here and try the Filipino breakfast! Hint: try the tapas with vinegar and some habanero hotsauce!!

Pros: delicious Vegan options, enough options

Cons: few options

Amazing vegan deserts

We came here on a rainy Sunday. It’s brightly colored interior definitely provided a respite from the grey clouds outside. Great option for breakfast, coffee or vegan deserts. They had savory options but we didn’t get a chance to try it.

We tried the apple pie, chocolate cinnamon swirl, peanut butter banana pancakes with banana oat-milk smoothie.

Everything was so tasty. One of the best vegan pancakes I have tasted. Highly recommend visiting it specially if you are after good vegan deserts.

Good breakfast spot!

First time visiting as it’s nearby to my hotel!

Service: Friendly and all staff know what “vegan” means. Not the fastest service though, it took about 20 mins for us to get water, 30 mins for the drinks we ordered and 45 for food. (Keep in mind, there was only one other patron inside, who had already been tended too)

Food: Many things on their menu are already vegan, and everything else can be made vegan. In fact, nothing is indicated on the menu, as you order you just tell them that you’re vegan and they make it vegan for you. We had the ham and cheese grilled sandwich, the jalapeño cheese sandwich and the chocolate chip pancakes. The sandwiches are served with a hot tomato soup, which leans to the sweeter side, but perfect to dip the sandwiches into. The “cheese” used for the sandwiches wasn’t a vegan melty cheese, but maybe more of a noochenaise. The “ham” was diced which didn’t bother me, but some might prefer slices. They use lovely slices of crusty bread for the sandwiches. The chocolate chip pancakes were very nice and fluffy, 2 heart-shaped good American pancakes, but there weren’t any chocolate chips IN the pancakes, instead there were dark chocolate shavings on top. Drinks are served with paper straws, which can affect the flavour of your drink of choice, luckily I brought my own glass straw and could taste the difference. You can also just omit the straw of course. Unfortunately we see too full to try anything from the fully vegan dessert display!

Atmosphere/surroundings: Very relaxed vibe, strange covers of popular songs being played (some were nice, some were disturbing), a book exchange nook as well as some informative flyers (peta). A few outdoor seating options surrounded by many plants! It was quite warm indoors, so leave your blazers at home!

Hygiene: Everything seemed very clean. Have not yet visited the restrooms.

Pros: Everything can be veganized

Cons: Not the fastest service

great breakfast place

If you don't want an Asian breakfast , go to this place for vegan pancakes, the best I ever had . Owner says pretty much everything is vegan in the café now.

Really nice place

I absolutely loved this place and in fact had breakfast there every day during trip. The vegan pancakes were great as were the vegan ham & cheese sandwich and vegan cakes. A typical meal for me (I'm a big eater) costs around 300 Philippine Pesos or roughly £4.50. Nice chill atmosphere, free Wi-Fi and AC. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Pros: Great food, Value for money, Nice cool vibe

Cons: No blueberry pancakes on the menu

coffee aficionados - this is your spot

Great soy lattes, not your sickly sweet ones like Starbucks gives you. Try the calamansi cakes and baked goods. I also like the little cookies they give you with the coffee. Must also get the cheese and jalapeño panini, vegan and spicy good. Served with hummus and veggies too! Second fav is the pesto panini. Owners are super cool, chill, friendly babes too. (Plus!) Amazing service, bright colorful ambience. Check it.

Great breakfast spot!

Me and my boyfriend went here two days in a row for breakfast after realising there was no vegan options for me at the hotel where we were staying, and what a fantastic way to start our days in Manila! The cafe is cute and colourful and the food is great. They had 3 different flavours of pancakes when we were there, I tried the chocolate chip ones and the banana and peanut butter ones, I would recommend the later one. They also had jalapeño pancakes that I probably would have tried if we had another day in Manila (yes I like pancakes..). My boyfriend had the vegetarian ham and cheese sandwich both days since he enjoyed it so much. My vegan latte was to die for the first day, perfect froth and taste, but disappointed the next day when it was made by another person. Breakfast for two is about p700 (1x pancakes, 1x sandwich, 2x coffees). I definitely recommend this place!

The Kismet Cafe in Makati, Philippines

Great jaffle sandwiches (like the pressed and sealed' flying saucer' of when we were kids), friendly baristas, colorful happy decor, wall quotes and paintings. Nice friendly relaxed atmosphere.

Pros: Good variety of coffee, perfect brew, Great bread, delicious jaffle sandwiches, Original, cozy and cool atmosphere

Cons: I wish they'll serve rice or pasta dish!, Need to open branch in Mandaluyong, too!, Close too early!
