Lunch at the Greenhouse - Edit
Our first time at the Greenhouse and impressed by the range of food on offer both hot and cold. Very good prices as well. I had a delicious frittata with 2 of the fresh salads I offer. My friend had the nut roast which although moist unfortunately was very salty. May have been a slip with preparation or soy sauce added. Very nice ambience and friendly helpful staff. Wil definitely return

Cons: Salty nut roast, Some bean or grain salads would have been nice

Great vibe - save room for dessert - Edit
We loved the vibe here - the staff were really friendly and attentive. The nut roast was very good with lovely sides, but the beetroot cake afterwards was amazing!

Busy - Edit
The place is very busy so you be waiting a while for a table and food. Food is ok. We have had better. Good to see another place that has vegan options though

Great value veggie food! - Edit
We had a great vegetarian lunch, sharing the cheese and spinach frittata and a cheese broccoli and cauliflower bake, with a side sharer salad and a pesto mashed potato. Came to £24 all in including a drink! Highly recommend

Delicious food and lovely space - Edit
Went here with the fam and it was great. Lovely food and you can see all the salads to choose from. The tiles on the floor are beautiful and the whole space is hung with lots of great art. Only negative was that the lift wasn't working but my parents managed to heave the double pram up the stairs so no problem!

Best vegan sausage - Edit
Vegan Brunch was delicious and filling although I wanted more. 😋Best vegan sausage I’ve tasted in four years of being vegan. 💚

Great food - Edit
Love this little gem of a place. My favourite was definitely the nut roast with a lovely spicy salsa. We had a plate of salads to share and as the coleslaw wasn’t vegan-only veggie they put it on a separate plate for my wife😄

Lovely - could easily be fully vegan - Edit
We missed this place last time we were in Shrewsbury as we search for vegan eateries first.
Read moreYou enter to a staircase, which leads upto to the huge seating area. It's light and airy with friendly staff and lots of artwork on the walls.
We ordered a vegan sausage sandwich, mushrooms on toast and 2 oat lattes. This came to the impossibly reasonable price of £12. The food arrived promptly. It was basic but lovely, well cooked and seasoned and served on home made bread.
The menu is classic cafe fayre and could easily all be vegan, but for now, the vegan options are clearly labelled, as are the gluten free options.
Nice place for a lunch or breakfast.
Pros: Very inexpensive , Nice premises
Cons: Could easily be made all vegan

Great, and in the centre of town. This spacious cafe is a fantastic place to relax, eat and drink and offers a good variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The breakfast is fabulous and sets you up for the day! If you're visiting Shrewsbury, you should visit The Greenhouse Cafe.

Genuinely the best Vegan breakfast I've had! - Edit
This was our first ever visit to Shrewsbury and we heard about The Greenhouse from this app.
Read moreSo glad we went!
I got the vegan full English, with no tomatoes. And a pot of tea (leaves rather than bags) with oat milk.
We got 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks for £17.
Where we live we usually pay about £9 for one vegan breakfast without a drink, so this was a bargain for us!
The food was divine! The nicest vegan sausages I've ever had, and I've been veggie for 22 years! They even make their own ketchup! Which was also yummy!
The staff were super happy and friendly. The space was clean, and welcoming!
We can't wait to go back!
Pros: Really friendly staff, Delicious food, Great Value

Good but could be better - Edit
Great to see a fully veggie place but I felt a lot of the options on the menu could easily have been vegan or have the option of being vegan.
Read moreHalf the menu wasn't available when we went yesterday so that was even more limiting, however staff are super friendly and the desserts, which ALL come with a vegan topping option, we're incredible!
