Pho was just ok! - Edit
I’ve had a lot of pho, and a lot of amazing vegan pho. This vegan pho was just okay! The tofu was yummy, the veg and noodles were good. But the broth was just warm, no super hot as it should be, and while it was a tasty umami, it lacked any depth.
Read moreIf you’re going with meat eaters, there’s options for you. But otherwise, find a veg viet place in town. There’s many of them and they’re really fantastic. For example, Saigon Lotus, which is one of the best in town!

I happened to stumble upon this family operated establishment while in the neighborhood and had a nice meal. Apparently this is a well known spot for Pho. They offer a vegan tofu pho dish with a veggie stock and plenty of veggies. Make sure to communicate your preference for a veggie stock just to be clear and they will accommodate.
