Highlight on our trip - Edit
Finding nice cafes with vegan options can be quite the challenge here in NZ. But this place exceeded my expectations! At least 5 desserts to choose from and a few breakfast options. We both went for the Tofu Scramble which also comes with toast (and 1x extra slice for free if you ask) and vegan butter. It was absolutely delicious and better than I’ve had at vegan restaurants.

Super clean and cozy, plenty of seating. We came around 9 and it was nice and empty. Got quite busy around 10 though.
Lovely staff, all had their hair tied back, and nice facilities overall. The sweet breakfast options seemed a bit expensive given what they were so we just went with tofu!

The food is so tasty with many option. All ingredients are either listed or available, so perfect for people with food intolerances. Staff are super helpful and friendly ... and vegan!

The cafe is nicely located with many vegan options savoury as well as sweet as cakes. The portions are reasonable and so the price is ok. We had the tofu scramble and the Bean and Nachos which could be made vegan. Would go there again.

Amazing vegan options, the owner is vegan herself and tailormade everything for us. Offered a unique range of options like brown rice and sesame burgers with her own vegan aioli ...maybe the best weve EVER had. Beautiful homemade granola with fresh fruit amd coconut yoghurt too...really friendly staff too and yum sounding cocoa drinks. Couldnt reccomened enough.

A nice tidy cafe with friendly service & moderate prices. Try the chlorophyll water if you haven't experienced it before.
This cafe is worth a visit when in Taupo.

I had a simple breakfast here and came back later for a coffee. I thought the selection of vegan and vegetarian food was pretty decent and all items were clearly marked (also with other allergy information). The sourdough bread I had with my breakfast was great and the coffee was fantastic. The space itself is also really nice and welcoming, lots of outdoor seating as well. What really stood out though was the service: staff were extraordinarily friendly and accommodating - fantastic!

We stumbled on this place just off the Main Street in Taupo and had a lovely chat to the manager. Hard to find good vegan food in nz sometimes but this place has it. :)

Had a delicious lunch here whilst passing through Taupo. We’d been camping for several weeks, so it was a bit of a treat. Lots of places in Taupo seemed to have one or two vegan options maximum, but this places had about 7-8 options, all of which were really tempting! In the end I went for the detox bowl, which was incredible with a lovely warm spicy green tahini sauce, and washed it down with a green smoothie which tasted super healthy with no added rubbish. It was also enormous, so good value at $8.50. The vegan falafel wrap also looked so tempting! Plenty of alternative milk options for those looking just for coffee. Would definitely recommend.
