These guys have tried really hard to cater for vegans. It’s your average pub food, snitzels nachos and parmy’s done vegan, but far better than you’d get at your average pub.

A few different vegan options and place had very relaxed atmosphere. One of the few non-chain places with vegan options in Bundaberg.

Spent the night in Bundaberg. This was the closest option on Happy Cow in walking distance. They only had nachos left as all the other vegan meals where sold out. Yay - Boo for us. When they arrive they were very large servings. Good meal. Couldn’t finish mine.

I am stoked to see a vegan section of the menu in any pub. Even more stoked to see it in a country pub.
Read moreWe had the vegan nachos and the sheezy Parma. I’d absolutely recommend the nachos and be a bit more hesitant on the Parma.
The nachos came in a massive serving and had a good balance of toppings to chips. They were tasty and the type of vegan cheese they used melted well.
The Parma I think was made with a Quorn or other store bought patty. It was thick and chewy and the type of cheese they used didn’t melt as well as the nachos. Still, I was excited to be able to have a Parma for the first time in years. You wouldn’t come here for the Parma, but it seemed easy for them to make and have ready and I’d like more pubs to go down this easy route.

I had a Parma and my friend had the schnitzel with gravy, both were so yummy and such good value for money! Was amazing to be able to have classic pub food veganised, super friendly staff as well😄
