Their falafel is really tasty. They serve it in compostable packaging! The only thing that I trully dislike is that they serve meatballs too. Whyyyy? :(

Amazing place in Heraklion - Edit
During our two months in Heraklion, we have often visited this place. The falafel is always made on the spot and the ingredients are fresh. Sometimes, you can also find a vegan dessert. The staff is always happy and friendly.

Falafel in Crete - Edit
Nice little place in the center of Heraklion. If you are vegan you can tell the staff and they will be glad to prepare a vegan falafel for you. The falafel was good. They have a few tables outside. The cats will try to get something out of you but your vegan falafel might disappoint them.

Cute little place with lots of vegan options. I tried the falafel without the pita (gluten sensitivity) with aubergine salad, beet salad, potato salad and humus! Delicious and filling! The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had two wraps with different salads and sauces and home-made lemonade. Both very tasty. Reasonably priced products. Medium portion costs £4 so it is a good eatery if one has a tighter holiday budget.

After a few days in Heraklion we really wanted to find a place with healthy food. Via Happycow we found The Chickpea and were very happy with this place. The people are very friendly and the food is really nice! Keep up the good work!

Much needed place in Heraklion for vegans and vegetarians, serves mostly falafel but also has other options. Good prices and good atmosphere, excellent staff. I wish it was at least vegetarian!
