New Ownership, new food source. Not vegan. - Edit
The description of this restaurant states that the food source is local and sustainable with vegetarian and vegan menu choices but what we discovered was anything but this. The restaurant is under new ownership since it was listed on HappyCow, and the menu selection has changed. There was an iceberg salad option but everything else on the menu was not vegetarian or vegan. We talked with the new owner and he admitted that his entire food ingredient selection arrives on one truck (to minimize carbon footprint he said). There is no way the food is locally sourced, having arrived from one source. One member at our table ordered meat, a filet, and it was a pieced together piece of meat, almost like it was glued together. He ate it anyway, and became very ill that night. Even though the staff was nice, we cannot recommend this restaurant as a vegan option or as a restaurant.
