Fresh quality ingredients on 5th Ave, Naples - Edit
My husband said he loved the vegan burger. I had the falafel bowl with no feta to make it vegan. It was really fresh and filling. I have enough leftovers for another meal from it. If you ask what they have that is vegan, some of the staff has to ask, which reduces confidence a bit, but they were willing to find out. I was told only the ancient grain bowl and vegan burger are vegan. However, when I asked if the falafel bowl would be vegan without the feta, she checked and came back telling me yes. There are many smoothies, lattes and other items that are probably default vegan or easily modifiable. I liked how healthy my bowl was with fresh sprouts, cabbage, falafel that was NOT deep-fried. I also liked that my husband’s vegan burger was house-made and not just another impossible or beyond meat dish. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. It is pricey but not unusual for 5th Ave dining. My constructive feedback to the owners would be to clearly mark the menu with vegan options as well as modifications to make it vegan. Naples has very few restaurants that even offer 1 vegan option, so this could be a great spot for this looking for veg options in the area.
