Good Vegan Options! - Edit
This area is not exactly a vegan food desert (somebody people and joyhill are nearby), but im still happy they exist!
Read moreIt has a real dive-bar feel while having a very clean kitchen serving a few vegan options: mushroom burger, beyond burger, and tofu + noodles! They even have a reverse vegan tax on the tofu + noodles, you will save $3 compared to the non-vegan noodles. Unfortunately everything else has the vegan tax; $1 extra for buns, $? extra for vegan cheese, $? extra for beyond patty)
(the menu does not say it, but they have vegan cheese on request)
I was really in the mood for a burger since I was sort of bar-hopping before landing here. I really liked getting the tater-tots as my side!

Food was meh - Edit
My mushroom burger was very mediocre, same with the side of tots. Anytime I tried to take a bite out of the portobello patty it kept falling out of the bun. The booth I sat on was also kinda covered in food. Overall a very meh experience, I will not be going back.

This place is great! Went to a horror shop nearby(horrid) and hit the happy cow and found this! Great vegan options, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Love the atmosphere and happy hour at lunchtime 11-6.

The brutal poodle has a great atmosphere. I sat at the bar. The bartender had great knowledge about being vegan and asked good questions to make sure I got what I wanted when I asked questions/was looking at modifications. I think I ended up getting an impossible burger. Great beer and drink selection. Easy meal for a bar venue.

Great and friendly service.
You can get the beyond burger or the portobello burger with vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese. They have Vegan cheese though it’s not on the menu. Add guac, bbq, ketchup, or jalapeño jam for spreads. There may be more veg options like the salads and chili but I didn’t ask. Best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time

Very good food and considerately has vegan options on offer. This place plays rock and metal at a fairly loud volume so not recommended if you’re going there to catch up with someone and chat.
