Authentic Thai food made vegan - Edit
Great, authentic Thai food, with a full vegan menu to choose from. The owner was very kind and explained the ingredients used. She mentioned that she really wants to expand the vegan menu, but needs the support of more vegan clients.

Vegan menu with very good green curry - Edit
This is a good option if you're visiting the botanic gardens and end up on the North side. We needed to ask for the vegan menu when we arrived because it's not enclosed in the main menu. There were a few different options and we went for the vegan pad Thai and vegan green curry.

The green curry was excellent with a wide variety of vegetables. Rice needs to be ordered separately. There are a couple of different options for the portion sizes, and the one we got was pretty big (too much curry for the rice) but we were only charged for the smaller portion, so I'm not actually sure which size we got.
The pad Thai had a slightly sweet edge to it, which isn't our preference but might be to some tastes, and is probably more traditional than a completely savoury pad Thai we might find at home. It had a couple of different types of fake meat in it, which we didn't love, but they were still reassuringly definitely not meat upon tasting it, even though the appearance was quite meat-like.
If we were to go again I'd definitely have the green curry again, but would probably try something different instead of the pad Thai.

Friendly staff and many tasty fully-vegan options! - Edit
This is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall place. There are less than a dozen tables inside, which gives a cozy atmosphere. Although the restaurant offers meat and fish dishes, they proudly advertise their vegan menu. That menu includes Thai classics, such as pineapple fried rice, olive fried rice and green curry for mains, as well as mango sticky rice. The food tastes good and the staff are friendly and helpful.
