vegan gem in Hyderabad - Edit
A really cozy boho vibe cafe in Jubilee Hills. Both indoor and outdoor seating area, with AC inside so perfect for all times of day that way. The guy working there was very chill and gave a good service, overall a very laid back and comfortable experience.
Read moreThe menu has a variety of vegan dishes, both Indian and other cuisines. We ordered one of the biryanis, pasta, the Calm salad, the fidget spinner and tried a couple of the juices. For dessert we also gave the vegan lemon donut and ice cream a try, which did not disappoint! Everything was very clearly freshly prepared and made with care (and love)
Really recommend trying the juice, it was freshly made and you got a big portion of it which really made it worth the cost!
The only thing I have to criticize is that they didn’t have everything that was in the menu. Other than that this is one of very few vegan restaurants in Hyderabad and is definitely worth a visit. Really cozy and peaceful, and great food☀️

Great little eatery - Edit
Great place for veg options in Hyderabad! Really welcoming and accommodating staff. The vibe is casual with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of food options, I had the butter chykn and nuggets, both delicious. The iced oat milk coffee was fantastic on a hot day. So glad I stopped by! (And the night before I had a food delivery from Terrassen - the biryani in the clay pot is a must must must order!)

Wowzah is this food incredible. Not only do they have an extremely diverse and extensive menu with appetizers, desserts, drinks, and mains, but the food and prices are 1000% worth it.

Love the vibes - Edit
It’s lovely to taste traditional foods esp not so popular Indian foods in a non-traditional setting. I love how the owner comes up with non-conventional items on the menu

My favourite place in Hyderabad - Edit
When I was in Hyderabad for the very first time in March 2020, I wasn't allowed to leave the hotel so I was only able to order a delivery from this place. I was really gutted as I read so much about them and wanted to visit it in person. Last week I was back and the first thing I did after I got a nap after the flight was to walk to Terrasen Cafe. It was exactly as I imagined it. So cosy with amazing vibes. Staff are very frieny and helpful and the food is just fantastic. Mouthwatering! On my first day I tried the cold almond milk coffee (probably the best iced coffee I have ever had, tastes a bit like frappe in Greece) and the lovely waiter advised me to try a vegan mutton biriyani rice. It was soo good!!! And the portion was so huge that I had to have a half of it packed to take back to the hotel with me. I also tried their fermented ginger beer (very refreshing, exactly what you need on a hot day) and their chocolate ragi cake (huge portion as well but who would complain about a big piece of a chocolate cake??😊). The next day I went for a CALM salad with hummus and falafels and it was delicious too. I also purchased two jars of flex protein peanut butter. One of them crunchy the second one with dark chocolate. Haven't tried the crunchy one yet but the chocolate one is out of this world! I now hope I will get to come back to Hyderabad again soon so I can revisit this beautiful place.

Great mix of tasty Indian and Western food - Edit
Cosy place with lots of warm personality and character. Excellent menu covering Indian and Western items, many with a "Terrasen twist". The iced vietnamese coffee with condensed coconut milk, and pizza were our favourites.

It’s definitely NOT fast food; the menu even explains why each dish will take awhile to get to you. It’s hand-made SLOW food, which gives you the time to enjoy a coffee or juice while you wait.

Amazing 100% vegan cafe! - Edit
Had the Kushari which is very good! And the game changer burger (new and not on the menu) with kidney bean patty, lettuce, tomatoes etc. the jackfruit meat on the side is to die for. Must try: chai tea with coconut milk and jaljeera (a good appetite opener). Love the space and a great place to unwind and relax especially in India!

Warm, welcoming and amazing food - Edit
We virtually moved into this place during our time in Hyderabad. It looks very warm and welcoming as you approach, and we spent hours trying to eat our way through the amazing menu. We loved the fact that many local regional classics have been veganised, giving us a chance to try dishes that are generally off limits.
Read moreI have to make a special mention of the “Brown Monk” - a spectacular dessert, of a brownie with a delicious rum sauce and ice-cream. It was one of the best desserts I have eaten anywhere.

Fabulous menu, great atmosphere & lovely people! - Edit
We worked our way through as much of Terrasen’s menu as possible! It was particularly great to have the opportunity to try Indian dishes that would typically be inaccessible to vegans, such as Daal Bati Churma and the Shyam Bazaar (meatless curry)!

Awesome Vegan option in Hyderabad - Edit
Terrassen Cafe is this nice cozy Vegan cafe in the heart of Hyderabad! Their menu is very different from the regular cafe menus and quite refreshing with choices such as Vegan Vietnamese coffee, Kombucha, jaljeera, Jackfruit smoothie, Ragi waffles, Ragi cake, wraps, salads, sandwiches, pastas, noodles, pizza etc.. I particularly loved their mock meat roll wrapped in poppy seed paste, and their smoked tofu sandwich! Must visit for all food lovers in Hyderabad.

This a great, totally vegan cafe. They have interesting menu options and the food is delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. Out of this world!!!! - Edit
This place has unbelievable food. Had the jackfruit meatball sub which was maybe the best sandwich I've had ever! The second best ever was also here: the sloppy joe. The pizzas are also so good they have incredible vegan cheese! Finished with the Yes Woman, a carrot halwa dish which was so so yummy. The staff is so helpful and friendly and the prices were great! Will be going to this place everyday in Hyderabad! Thank you so much!

AMAZING VEGAN FARE!!! - Edit
Hyderabad's first wholly vegan café has come a loooong way and also just moved to a new address! Must-try are posto roll (mockmeat!), their mushroom tofu pizzas, sloppy joe sandwich, cold coffee, Turmirator juice (orange, sweet potato, ginger and turmeric!) and Brown Monk (brownie + ice-cream). Also, a chat with owner Dhanesh is recommended😄The café has a top floor that has a café feel and a hippyish sit-down section in the basement. Books and board games galore! :)
