Doesn't get much better - Edit
This place is great! Cosy and very friendly, live music, lovely cocktails and a delicious tapas platter. All very affordable too. There's really nothing else to wish for!

No more tapas but great sandwiches and vibe - Edit
We went last night and were told they had stopped doing the tapas (as a permanent thing not just that night) but were still doing sandwiches (vegan options were hummus and avocado/salad and roast veg) plus olives and hummus bowls. The sandwiches were tasty and filling, the servers were so nice, friendly and cheery, and the drinks menu is great - including a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. The atmosphere was unique...dark lighting, eclectic (but good) music choices and an array of different paintings and wall hangings giving the place personality. We had a great time there despite expecting tapas!

Great little live music bar - Edit
Gràcia has loads of hidden gems in terms of bars, and this is another lovely one! Lovely ambience, friendly staff, beautiful crockery and glasses and the tasting tapas was great and good value. The cocktails are great too, and the live music was brilliant on the night I went. Would recommend and go again!

I spent my birthday night here and it was very special. We opted for Cafe Tenderete because we had a late flight and a guarantee of late veggie tapas was really appreciated. We knew it would be good judging from previous positive reviews but it surpassed our expectations. The food was really tasty,the lighting is dim and the atmosphere is cool. It's set in a nice location with some cool bars. Ask staff for vegan options.

Tender is the night - Edit
Wonderful night time tapas place. Plenty of vegan options, Moritz beer, good wine and house cocktails. What more incentive do you need. Very rustic inside. I like a bit of rustic. Don't expect to be wined and dined. This is proper local Barcelona with no tourist frills. Appreciate the music, the lighting and the atmosphere - these memories shall be our very own.

Fantastic atmosphere, live music, great cocktails, good tapas, in a great area of town. Wait staff were super friendly, and the happy hour 2 for 1 cocktails (alcoholic and non alcoholic) were really affordable.

A very different experience to going to a veggie cafe or restaurant, it's very much a bar and tapas place more than a restaurant, so it's a much cooler environment.

Cafe tenderete gets high marks all across the board. Owner/staff are such lovely people- engaging and kind. The dishes were delicious and full of beautiful flavors. And the decor is on point, vibrant with personality. It has a very relaxed and comfortable local bar-like atmosphere Great place for late eats or even just to hang out and have a drink.

great friendly tapas bar - Edit
found this in a back street just 100 meters from the main tourist area. The owner and staff are genuinely friendly and are a delight to chat with. The tapas was quite good and a sampler was 14 euros being quite fulfilling for the two of us. . He also made veggie burgers for the day which were delicious, The drinks list is sufficient to satisfy and the cocktails fantastic and as per everything else reasonably priced. only open a short time but deserves to succeed
