Chinese family style restaurant w lunch buffet and western meals

Big restaurant, good for families, extensive menu, cheap-ish for ala-carte menu, pricier for family-style portions (same like on mainland China). Lunch buffet has a dozen or so options. Fairly busy at night. Air-conditioned! 😅

Very simple and good vegan food

We had brunch here and loved the food. It’s got all variations of Chinese and some western food.

Pros: Good quality, Well located in the city, Hygienic

Good food

It stated on the first page of the menu that to inform them when ordering if you want to make the food vegan. That's what I did.

I ordered claypot mee and soy milk. Requested no straw with the drink. But sadly it came with a straw still. And there was oil stain in the glass which quite a turn off. The soy milk was nice though.

The dish was good. Price is reasonable. Portion is normal. The vegetables were very fresh and still crunchy. It added the sweetnest in the dish which was very pleasant.

friendly and inexpensive

Serves up pre cooked buffet meals from 8am to 2.30pm which i found tastier than the menu meals in the evening though these weren't bad.
Jalan Tupai leads down from Jalan Kota (the clock tower is on the corner of Kota/Tupai.

Pros: FRIENDLY STAFF, price

Cons: mock meats on the evening menu (puts me off)
