Good vegan option, questionable treatment of turtle - Edit
Ended up here on a whim and was surprised at the vegan options. I was sad to see the restaurant had a turtle as a mascot. The turtle was in a small tank with little stimulation. The UVB light was off. Not sure how well take care of it is. Anything that can be done?
I’ve been here once, I was told that almost everything could be made vegan, so i decided on the pad Thai with Tofu and the server did confirm that the dish could be made vegan, so I when ahead and ordered it. For the most part it taste good, the noodles and tofu were on point and then I saw what looked like eggs though it could’ve been scrambled tofu so I kept an open mind so I took a bite and I can confirm that it was indeed eggs!!! I literally spat it right out and washed my mouth with the fountain beverage I ordered and I could not get that strong egg taste out of my mouth until chugging almost half my drink. I’m sure it’s a good place to eat but as a strict vegan I probably won’t be coming back
Ordered from this restaurant impulsively after debating between this and other Thai restaurants in the area and I was not disappointed! Their prices were reasonable, and they had some of the best curry that I've had since going vegan 😍 will definitely be coming back again
I read a lot of positive vegan reviews on Yelp and came to check it out. They can make almost everything on the menu vegan and are happy to do it. We had the pad thai, pumpkin curry, and chow mein. They were all excellent and loaded with veggies.
