Serves meat, vegan options available. A traditional Indian restaurant with two outlets on the Isle of Skye, the other is in Portree. Offers over ten vegan dishes including sabzi achar, chana ghugni, sabzi kofta exotic, sag aloo, tarka dal, chana masala, Bombay aloo, aloo gobi and aloo begun bhaji. Note that the vegetable pakoras and samosas are not vegan as they are deep fried in the same oil as fish. Open Mon-Sun 17:00-23:00.

Very Awful Customer service and Rude staff behaviour - Edit
I had a very disappointing experience during my visit. The customer service was unhelpful and unprofessional. Additionally, the staff’s behavior was completely inappropriate and unacceptable. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone and hope management addresses these serious issues.

I really enjoyed my food here. Vegan is not clearly marked on the menu, but the staff is very friendly and can help you with what is vegan and not. Unfortunately the onion badji is not vegan (!) according to the staff so this contradicts an earlier review posted here.
Read moreI had the tarka dal with plain rice. Both were great. Fluffy rice and the tarka dal was full of flavor. We also had some popadums with two vegan chutneys (and a non vegan one).
I can definitely recommend going here.

Really delicious food and helpful staff - Edit
I had the spinach curry (I’ve forgotten the name) - not spicy and really full of lovely flavour! My wife got the Bhuna and our non vegan got a korma and said it was heaven. We also got the onion Bhajis were delicious. The waiter was happy to point out which dishes were vegan and it’s a lovely place to eat.

The staff was a bit rushed but the food was delicious and flavorful. They were helpful in making sure that my selections were vegan. The vegetable jalfrezi was yummy!
