Not worth it unless you're desperate - Edit
Be wary of their menu. Salsa has chicken broth in it and I'm pretty sure the guacamole has sour cream too.
Read more"Vegan" options are pretty bland. Tastes like unseasoned steamed frozen veggies.
(I live in Leadville and have only been once... Not going to return unless they rework their menu)

Yes, it was new to me as well, but it's actually a fairly common thing to add chicken bouillon to salsa (specifically Knorr Suiza brand)

A solid option in Leadville, and probably one of the few vegan friendly places in the town.
Read moreThe menu was deceiving— lots of options called “vegano” but you have to specify no cheese or sour cream. However my vegan burrito had tons of veggies. Overall a decent but not great burrito.
Service was friendly.
Pros: Some items labeled vegan, Lots of veggies in the burrito, One of few veg friendly places around
Cons: No vegan dairy substitutes, Need to specify no dairy, even for vegan items

Super awesome vegan food! - Edit
This place really hit the spot after summiting Mt. Elbert! I was craving something hot and substantial after the grueling hike, so my partner (omnivore) and I decided to hit La Mina up in Leadville. It was a great choice. I loved how they provided vegan options for many of their dishes and how my partner could also order his meat too. Both of us were satisfied. I ordered the vegan torta with fries and oh boy did they pile on the fires, which was awesome after the long hike. I was just visiting Leadville, but if I ever return I know I’ll be back to this place for more!
