Excellent vegan nachos & tacos 🌮 - Edit
Just flew into Mexico City this evening and was itching for some authentic tacos. This cute hole in the wall lived up to the hype! While it was slow service (50 minutes), we were lucky we were the last order before they started to wind down the kitchen. For reference, we arrive around 8:30/8:45pm and they don’t officially close until 10pm. There’s 6 small tables outdoors.

- Nachos: delicious!! Would come back just for these nachos
- Black pastor made from mushroom (taco): good but a bit underwhelming
- Baja made with the fired eggplant and cole slaw: very good! Tasty sauce and combination of elements
The nachos were a generous portion (made to share) and the tacos were each a small single taco. Wish we had ordered one more dish to feel completely full. But this meal definitely hit the spot! Will definitely come back to try the quesadilla and burrito!

It’s a really small spot, but the food was some of the best we had in Mexico City. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The chickpea chorizo nachos were definitely the highlight — so good and packed with flavor!

Delicious! First time eating at Taco Santo and can’t wait to go back! Was thrilled to have piping hot “gringas” with chickpea chorizo and soft melty vegan cheese. This is exactly the vegan Mexican food I love - nothing processed, no junk, just whole food prehispánico ingredients. Was such a happy treat to have sopa de tortilla. Reunited with my childhood favorite, plant based version and every bit as satisfying. Friendly service, quaint sidewalk location.

I typically lean towards vegan junk food, and this place's is not that at all. Still I loved it and will certainly be back for more. My wife and I tried all but one taco from their menu and it was hard to tell which one we liked the most.

Super tasty traditional tacos, soups, and more made without fake meats or other highly processed ingredients. The prices are significantly lower than in other places, maybe because there's no indoor seating - just a few tables on the sidewalk. This completes the overall experience though, making it a great vegan option if you seek real Mexican food.

Went here for an early dinner and couldn't fault a thing, good service and awesome menu options. We got the huitlacoche quesidilla, ceviche and sopa azteca. Spicy senorita cocktail and soursop horchata were amazing too!!

I wish i would have tried this place sooner. It was incredible. The soursop horchata is probably the best drink I’ve ever tasted. I also tried the jackfruit taco and the chickpea taco. Both delicious, but I want to try everything! Service was impressive too.

This place is perfect. Small venue with only outdoor seating, this is a MUST GO. Healthy choices that are amazingly prepared. Well spiced and served with love. House-music adds to the festive atmosphere and the chef is fully accessible. Super cool experience. I went back 3 times during my 6 day stay in CDMX. Delicious food!
