Serves meat, vegan options available. Small chain of Tex-Mex food restaurants based in the South. Menu offers build-your-own tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and bowls. The tortillas, black beans, tofu, chips and salad are vegan. Corn, guacamole, and other beans are not. The "treehugger" burrito can be vegan if replacing guacamole with just avocado. Other items possibly can be customized - ask. NOTE: Veggie mix contains dairy. Open Mon-Sat 11:00am-9:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

fresh & delicious!

Taco Mama quickly became a favorite for me and my husband while living in AL and we were so excited to find one right down the street from his work in Nash!

our go-to was the Treehugger Burrito Basket (no guacamole - their’s contains sour cream, which is a bummer) and a side of fire roasted corn (ask for vegan). the ingredients are fresh and high quality and the burritos are HUGE! their salsa and chips are easily my favorite in the Southeast. if you’re in the mood for a drink, their margaritas are delicious too! save yourself some $ and go for the pitcher, rather than individual drinks.

i will give a heads up for the easily overstimulated - this place is almost always PACKED. be prepared to wait for a table or squeeze through the crowd to grab your to-go order.

3 stars because i wish they had a few more vegan options, including their guacamole!

We love this place so much!
