Didn’t deliver - Edit
Our visit started off well, we explained that we were vegan and what we didn’t eat. The waitress told us what we could have/adapt and they also had 2 vegan mains on the menu. Sounded great and we were excited to try the Vegan stew and vegan noodles. Waitress came back after we placed our order saying that one of the vegan mains were not available but we could have stuffed pepper and tomato. So far so good, dishes run out it wasn’t a hassle. Starters were great, tomato soup, hummus, green salad. When the mains came the vegan stew which should have had peppers, potatoes, onion and zucchini in a gravy was a plate which consisted of a fried zucchini and a pepper with some lettuce on top with a yogurt dressing. It was placed on the table as fried vegetables. When we said that we had ordered the vegan stew, they said yes, that’s what it is. After a bit of discussion about the fact it wasn’t what was listed on the menu and that it had a yogurt dressing on top they took it away. When my stuffed pepper and tomato arrived it had 2 large slices of feta cheese and the other vegan main that we were told was unavailable turned up as they had found one. My stuffed pepper and tomato were taken away but was returned so quickly that they must have just scraped the feta off the plate. After a fair bit of discussion and the owner becoming involved when we said we weren’t happy with our meal, we heard a fair amount of raised voices amongst the staff. It’s a shame as the food we did get was good. At no point did the owner come back over, instead a young waiter came over to ask if we wanted anything else. We paid the bill and left.

Beach side restaurant with good tasty options - Edit
There are some nice fresh options here. The starter selection plate is nice just ask for it without the dairy for vegan.

Beach view and vegan options - Edit
This restaurant is situated just next to the beach. They have several cold or hot vegetarian and vegan starters, but they are not marked as such on the menue. The stuff is friendly and helpes to choose the right (vegan) options. They also offer veggie main dishes. I had the Greek vegetable pot, it was a bit small compared to the meaty main dishes, but really delicious, especially the roasted potatoes were perfect. If you are vegan, ask to skip the yogurt dressing on top. With some starters, it was a filling dinner. The small green salad was a good price and was fresh. The eggplant puree was not my personal favorite. All in one good place in Kefalos to find veggie food.
