Absolutely delicious!!! - Edit
Service was wonderful, friendly, and warm. The food is authentic Japanese food (i lived in Japan), and really delicious. There was a lot of variety - curry, sushi rolls, bento box, etc. I will definitely drive from Mount Martha to Belgrave again just for this restaurant.

Read moreIf you are a party of two I would recommend getting the vegan curry and the vegan bento box and share between yourselves. There are multiple assortments of delicious sushi rolls as well in the front counter. It is a clean and welcoming place, perfect for a rainy day.

delicious vegan dishes - Edit
Authentic Japanese dishes that were very delicious. One of us lived in Japan for 17 years, so he knew the food was authentic. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean with plenty of indoor seating (important today as it was raining). We will definitely return and we highly recommend this restaurant.

Amazing vegan bento box only down side the miso soup that comes with it isn’t vegan. They replace it with a can or bottle of water.

EDIT; I like this place a lot better now, unique flavoured vegan sushi which is the same price as the others!!
Read moreThe vegan sushi is priced higher than the normal sushi, even though the ingredients are pretty normal. It was tasty but I'd still be happy with just normal avocado sushi from elsewhere, especially considering my run-in with them. Their bento box (and dumplings) are nice though.

Great to see more vegan options in Belgrave. The vegetable gyoza was quite good but I found the tofu udon noodle soup lacking a bit of depth; pleasant but not outstanding.
Read moreOn my second visit, I had the vegan curry which was quite very filling and a reasonably healthy choice.
The prices are very reasonable so I will return when in the area again.

Yummy vegan food, they have a whole vegan menu on tues and wed; with talk of opening it up for every night :) The soup is amazing
