Most likely closed down - Edit
I went to the location of this restaurant and nowhere on the entire street is a Jay vegan restaurant. Other pictures showed Jay signs even when the restaurant was closed, there was nothing whatsoever. There are very few restaurants on this street, none veg/vegan. There is no listing on Google maps, maybe it was never there.. I think this place has sadly closed down. Asked HC to update listing.

We arrived at Surat Thani really early as we took the night boat and were looking for somewhere to have a rest and eat something for breakfast. Found this little stand that opens at 6 am and decided to stop here.
Read moreThey offer rice and a buffet of choices for toppings. We payed 80 THB in total for 2 dishes with rice and 2 toppings (which the owner let us ourselves serve). They give you free water to drink.
As we arrived, the owner was already cooking so there were only 5 toppings to choose. But she kept cooking and served some more toppings as we were eating.
Pros: Full variety of choices, Cheap
Cons: Nothing!

Nice Jae food and friendly staff - Edit
Food was typical of a jae buffet restaurant. Staff were friendly, they don't speak any English but we managed to communicate with my tiny amount of Thai, by pointing and also a bit of Google translate.
