Amazing menu - Edit
There was almost too much to choose from, but I had the ‘planeer spring rolls’ to start and their masala pasta special as a main, both of which were great. It felt like the menu was even more varied than most omnivore Indian restaurants and I’ll have return to experience more of the menu.

Delicious food and friendly service - Edit
So pleased to find this amazing all vegan place to eat whilst visiting Nottingham. There were so many lovely homemade dishes on the menu, it was hard to choose! We really enjoyed everything we had, in particular the homemade vegan paneer - so good! Service was really friendly, and we enjoyed chatting to the owner, who made us so welcome.

Popped in here after work one day and glad we did! Food was delish and the people were really nice and went into the history and why it’s all vegan. Forgot to take pics of the food as it had been eaten before I remembered! 🤣

Great, must go!! - Edit
I recently visited SuRano, and I must say—it was an absolute delight! The variety and quality of the food were impressive and satisfying from the first bite to the last.
Read moreWe enjoyed a beautiful platter of crispy samosas, crunchy spring rolls, onion bhajis, and what seemed to be perfectly spiced cutlets. Everything was served fresh, hot, and full of flavor, complemented by tasty chutneys that added the perfect kick.
The other plate was just as exciting—featuring a delicious wrap, golden and well-seasoned cassava fries, and an assortment of dips that made every bite enjoyable. The wrap was generously filled and grilled to perfection, and the fries were a nice twist from the usual.
The presentation was clean and modern, served on metal trays with printed liners, adding a trendy street-food charm. The ambiance of the place also felt warm and inviting, ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual meal.
SuRano is clearly a gem for anyone craving flavorful vegan snacks with a fusion twist. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!

The korma tastes like Thai red curry? - Edit
Could be better. Many of the dishes trying to be replicated don’t taste anything like how they should. Some were needlessly greasy or flavourless. The opposite can be said for others - unbearably spicy for no reason whatsoever.

Exquisite and flavourful food, refreshing fresh cucumber & lemon water on tap, wonderful atmosphere. Rano the owner is such a delight and staff very welcoming 😊. The street food platter is delicious, beetroot superfood pakora, vegetable sabji and Dahl are a must.

We opted for two different kebabs and both were absolutely delicious! We had the cheesecake as well which was a bit dry but still nice all the same.

Just had a delicious meal at SuRano with my Partner and Mom (who is a very fussy eater). Considering she’s a very fussy eater she loved everything she ate! The food portions are so generous and full of yummy goodness. The owner is so lovely as well. Highly recommend SuRano! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worth making a detour for - Edit
Delicious Indian street food at very reasonable prices. The keema samosas were particularly nice but there wasn’t a thing that wasn’t tasty. We were persuaded to over-order (didn’t take much persuasion to be fair 😄) and took the leftovers home, still tasty the next day!

Outstanding, authentic Indian food - Edit
Rarely found fully vegan Indian (Punjabi) restaurant, family-run. I'd recommend the thali for sure. They have a few seats for dining in and free on street parking outside.

Simply Wonderful - Edit
Absolutely wonderful dinner here! We couldn't decide what to order so went for the sharing plate following by the thaali, which we also shared.
Read moreThe sharing plate had a great mix of classics with beautiful mango chutney and a mint sauce. All delicious, not overloaded with spice and incredibly, no grease. Not an easy feat when almost everything has to be fried! The home made vegan paneer is a must - you need to order something with this!
The thaali was fabulous. We loved trying all of the curries. These are all unique, definitely focus on rich flavours rather than heavy spice. You feel completely immersed! I can't remember the last time I had such authentic feeling curries. Rice and the flatbreads were cooked perfectly.
Even though we were full, we had to try the puddings! Cheesecake and a mango cupcake. Worth having these even if you've already eaten plenty!
Only a few minutes walk from Beeston train station, this restaurant is absolutely worth taking the time to visit. Great service from a friendly team, light and bright premises and just the best food.

The autumn equinox brought rain and a drop in temperature. We were passing through so ordered a takeaway. The menu is bigger than when we last visited and we loved the addition of the tikka kebab - best we've had, you absolutely need to order it!

SuRano - Edit
Popped in for lunch whilst in the area, received a warm welcome from the staff including the friendly dog, Bella 🐶 I had the Korma, which had quite a kick to what I’m used to but was tasty. The Thali looked really good and I’ll try this next time I visit. Dog friendly. Plenty of free on street parking.

Delicious - Edit
Absolutely delicious flavours. Really helpful owner guided us through the menu and we decided on the Thali so we could try a little of everything. Our ‘planeer’ spring rolls to start were amazing- have never had the dairy version- but liked it so much we bought some planeer to also cook at home. All of the dishes were delicious- served with two types of bread & rice, and a vegan raita. We also had the best masala chai I’ve ever had- again we purchased some for home
Read moreA good selection of desserts also available , the sticky toffee and crumble were also gluten free. We chose an Indian dessert which had a lovely delicate flavour and the consistency of fudge
5 stars- recommended 🌱

Friendly and helpful service with delicious food. - Edit
While shopping in Nottingham we couldn't pass by popping to Beston to eat at SuRano. Had a late afternoon meal here. I wasn't sure what to order (I can't cope with the heat from chillies) so the owner helped me choose even providing a sample of the sauce to see if it would be ok. We both enjoyed being able to taste all the flavours of our food and really liked the popped bread that came with B's meal.

Superb find - Edit
We used happy cow to find somewhere to eat as we are not from the area. It’s an unusual location but do not let this put you off. We received a warm welcome as soon as we entered and had the most delicious plant keema samosa and Sunday brunch. The brunch was freshly prepared and is a traditional Punjabi brunch which we have never tried before. Piping hot and served with delicious homemade chutney and yogurt and perfectly complimented by a masala chai tea. Highly recommended and will definitely call again #Veganuary

Taken over the space where feed me fully loaded used to be. It’s a little way out from beeston but plenty of parking if you drive or want to pick up.
Read moreSurano’s menu has a great selection of dishes to choose from including vegan paneer.
They prioritise flavour over spice to make the dishes accessible for everyone but will add some chilli if you prefer your food with a kick.
I never remember to take pictures but the food looked as good as it tasted. Will definitely be back.
