Worth getting up early for - Edit
Plenty of vegan options to try - I had the blueberry pancakes and the purple twist smoothie. Staff are really friendly and attentive.

Saturday brunch had a queue out the door of a a lot of people so we opted to get there for 9am Sunday when they opened and it was worth it (by around 40 minutes after opening all tables were full). NB: opens earlier than listed on Happy Cow - check Google.

I highly recommend this restaurant for a perfect lunch break. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. What I like most is the weekly changing lunch menu, which makes every visit exciting and ensures there’s always something new to try. The dishes are well-balanced and nicely presented. A great spot to enjoy a high-quality meal.

I had visited Sunny Side Up a while ago and remembered it positively, so this time I went back with my friend for breakfast. I was really looking forward to trying the matcha strawberry pancakes but, to my big disappointment, they are not vegan. Instead, we ordered the mango pancakes, which were absolutely delicious – fluffy, light, and just how pancakes should be. With mango on top, they were a real dream. I also had the açaí bowl, which was super tasty with lots of toppings.
Read moreOur highlight was definitely the Matcha Earth Smoothie. It’s not only visually stunning but also really delicious. For my taste, it could have had more matcha and spirulina, as the banana flavor was quite dominant, but it was still very enjoyable. The matcha latte was also very good.
The café itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and offers a wide variety of vegan options. The staff were very friendly, and since we went during the week, we easily got a seat. I know it can get very busy on weekends, with long lines and a wait for a table, but it’s absolutely worth the hype. The only downside are the prices, which are on the higher side. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful spot for breakfast or brunch. I’d love to come back and try one of the bowls for lunch, and I also spotted a poster for a Trash TV Taco Dinner at their Nordend location – I can’t wait to check that out!

Die Pancakes sind leider nicht so fluffig, wie sie aussehen und nicht so geschmackvoll, da waren wir etwas enttäuscht.

Unfortunately, we had to wait outside for a table for approximately 15 min which was fine but a little annoying.

Loved the breakfast menu and the sugar free cakes. They also offer lunch bowls and a kids menu for breakfast which includes blueberry pancakes, fruits and a juice. The location is pretty cute, the staff is friendly and the food is worth the money since e.g. the bagels are quite stuffed!

We had the açai bowl and the holy guacamole (we added feta cheese). Both dishes were tasty. The latte was not hot enough but the turmeric latte was nice.
All in all, this restaurant is nice but there's better places in Frankfurt with more inspired options.
Pros: Tasty food, Many lattes (beetroot, turmeric, black, etc.)
Cons: Expensive , Few options , Staff wasn't attentive
