Pricey, but good - slow service - Edit
Enjoyed the vegan croissants here and pancakes, but service and experience (waiting for tables to be cleaned, etc.) is poor.

Sugarlicious! - Edit
What a fantastic find! We were treated very well, though they were a member of staff down and the food was therefore delayed. It was well worth the wait!
Read moreWe took meat eaters who were very impressed with the sriracha/sugar rabbit burgers. The non-vegan kids loved the pancakes. Us vegans loved everything.
Craft Beer/coke/kombucha/juices to cool us down and cakes to take away for later.
There is a WC within the cafe, I’m not sure why one of these reviews says there isn’t.
It’s beside a little narrow road but it’s not busy as someone has written in a previous review.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Outside seating- visit after 3 for full shade, Cool items for sale inside including loadsa cakes
Cons: Busy and not enough seating- they’re very popular

Worth the wait! - Edit
Visited for a late breakfast this morning. I had the Cocoberry pancakes and my boyfriend had the Pea-bananuts pancakes. Both very nice. I was informed that the Cocoberry pancakes take 20 mins to make which I could only assume was for the coconut cream to be prepared. It was definitely worth the wait though.
Read moreThe orange juice was a little small for the price but it was nice and fresh and served in a cute little bottle.
They were very busy and so service was a little slow but that is perhaps a testiment to their quality.
Pros: Clearly labelled menu , Informed of the extra waiting time, Nice little cafe with outdoor seating

It was okay - Edit
It was okay, nice if you are craving some healthy fast food. We opted for burgers and the portions were huge, but nothing great and quite expensive for what you get. You also have to pay 50 cent extra for plant based milk in your coffee.

Nice healthy vegetarian cafe - Edit
We tried to go to Sugar Rabbit a few times before, but every time it was at full capacity and people were waiting. But this time we were lucky. We were there at opening (10:00 exactly) and even then there was a line. So the cafe was already full, within 1 minute of opening. All of the food is vegetarian, but a lot of them can be made vegan or are vegan by design. For example juices and most of the smoothie bowls, also the different breads and banana bread are vegan. All of the cupcakes are not vegan, unfortunately. We tried the detox juice, exotic juice, açai power bowl and the avocado toast. We enjoyed all of them. The price is OK, i feel this is normal for a healthy bar ( €10 for a bowl or toast, €4-€5 for juice and smoothie). I feel the place is a bit overhyped, hence the waiting lines. Could also be that we were unlucky and that normally there is always a place. Service was meant to be friendly, but came across as stressed and hastened. I think because of how busy it was and people still came in for take - away or waiting for a table to be clear. But all in all it was a good experience, but not great. 3.5 stars

Amazing brunch/breakfast - Edit
Very good! And they had vegan croissants (don't see that very often). The service was slow, they only had one person working and lots of guests (❤️) but it is possible that it was just that day. But highly recommend this place!

A little expensive - Edit
This is a nice little cafe in Albufeira with lots of vegan options. We opted for the nachos, which are in the “to share” section of the menu, so we thought we’d get a decent amount for 5€…when it came out it was a handful of average tasting tortilla chips and about a tablespoon of guacamole, and that was it, for two people! I also had an iced coffee with oat milk, which tasted mostly of the oat milk.
Read moreThe owner seemed nice, and the other food looked tasty, but the nachos and coffee were a bit of a let down!

Perfect breakfast - Edit
I had here the most delicious pancakes of my life. There is plenty of vegan options, clearly marked on the menu. My husband had a toast and after that he was still hungry. For me my portion was ok. Prices are accurate.

Great breakfast/brunch - Edit
We went here twice during our stay and enjoyed it. The vegan pancakes are amazing! The toasts are okay, I preferred the pink hummus toast. My boyfriend had the oats and the açai bowl and enjoyed both. Very happy about the matcha latte, very hard to find in Albufeira!

Can not recommend at all - Edit
When we wanted to order almost all vegan options were sold out, there was no vegan dessert available. We ordered two toasts, had to wait 1 hour!!! The portion was so small that my husband and I were still hungry but couldn’t order more as we didn’t have another hour to wait. We payed 32 Euro in total which is just ridiculous for Portugal especially when still hungry. Would never go back and won’t recommend of course.

Cosy little cafè/lunch bar - Edit
This is a really nice fully vegan/vegetarian cafe which offers oatmeals, salads, pancakes and many more. The dishes I would reccomend from those that I've tried would probably be coconut oatmeal and toast with sweet potato hummus & feta. The pancakes were also good, but maybe a tad bit too sweet for my taste. The portions were good for the price, the only downsides were the small tables and the long wait.

Lovely place - Edit
We had a lovely meal two days ago in this little place. We had two açai smoothies that were very tasty and a hummus and an avocado paste on toast. The food was delicious and the place is very beautiful. The only downfall is the price. A bit pricy for the area. Small negative is that there’s no view. You’re sat on the road if you’re outside.
