Totally vegan cafe with good vibe and good food - Edit
Tucked away in a wee side lane in central Glasgow, this totally vegan cafe with good music, vibe and food is worth finding. I’ve tried to get a table of an evening but often booked out due to its popularity. Visited on a quiet Saturday lunchtime and was welcomed by friendly staff. I started with a deliciously warming coconut and sweet potato soup which I followed with a saag paneer (pictured) with garlic flat bread. It was delicious and actually captured the eye of fellow diners who also ordered it. An institution in Glasgow and I can see why.

Beautiful space with delicious food! - Edit
The staff were friendly, the space is nice, the food was delicious, and the music was pleasant ambiance.
Read moreI had a pepperoni pizza; the pizza base was good. Only complaint is that the dish could have used more protein.
I was glad the bar had two varieties of nonalcoholic beer.
Cons: Not cheap

Would tend to agree with you - the last few times I've been in I've felt not kool enough, also that I was in the way, and that the staff really didn't want to be there, pretty grumpy and non-communicative. Also it's too dark, but that's just me!

Great vibe - Edit
Really lucky to get a table as was super busy at7pm on a Sunday night. We had the saag paneer, and jack fish and chips. Both delicious. Totally vegan menu with food mix of dishes. Super friendly staff. Nice, busy, down to earth vibe. Live music downstairs. They have a donation scheme running to donate a coffee/meal to a homeless person thus Christmas via socialbite, which we were more than happy to donate to.

Lovely, Laid-back Lunch - Edit
I think I've been to Stereo every time I've visited Glasgow! It's a very cool, informal bar setting and the food really hits the spot. They offer sizeable mains as well as smaller dishes so you can opt to share a few, tapas-style. The staff have always been friendly and helpful in my experience. Very conveniently located close to Central station - don't be put off by the fact that it's down a rather unappealing side street and you'll probably have to walk past a load of bins, it's much nicer inside!
Read moreEntrance is upstairs but they do have a lift for access - road surface outside is very uneven though so worth bearing in mind.

Yumyumyumyumyum in Stereo - Edit
Great central location, I would have gone here more than once but I wanted to try as many places as possible. I ordered a forgettable salad (only because I felt like I needed some greens) and Buffalo cauli wings and lemon cheesecake plus a pint of cider. What a delicious meal. I was stuffed full. It was maybe the best lemon cheesecake I have ever had - tart and sweet with a scrumptious crust. This place was PACKED and it was a Tuesday afternoon. Vegan food in Glasgow is ubiquitous and delicious and this place is a gem. YUM.

Good Food, Atmosphere could be better - Edit
Had dinner with my husband here, and though the food was great - if not exceptional - the bar atmosphere felt a bit stuffy and ... moist?
Read moreThe place is tucked away on a dirty alley, but if that does not bother you and you want good vegan mains, try this out. You may want to skip the cheesecake though, which was so weak I just ate the bottom of it.
Pros: Thought-out vegan options, Knowledgeable Staff, Tasty Mains
Cons: Unfortunate location, Musty bar scent inside, Cheesecake
