Such a shame that they couldn’t keep up their initial standard. I would say, that the staff also seemed very professional and even discussed temperature on the patty and everything. The first time around, the burger was 5 stars. The mac’n’ cheese, however: off. I would’ve given them 4, but the last two times the patty has been kinda off, and everything but the patty, even the bread, was ice cold…

So, so good. I’ve not found a place like this before— I devoured it! Burger was perfect (gluten free bun was really good), fries were crisp, and the strawberry shake was thick and flavorful. If I hadn’t been so full I would have grabbed a burger to go for later! Definitely a “treat yo’ self” meal😄

If you're in Chicago and want a plant-based burger, you should stop here. The staff was super friendly and the burger was the best I've had since going vegan. I highly recommend it. The chocolate shake was great too. You can eat inside or outside.

The mission of stand-up burgers is great and they put their money where their mouth is when it comes to supporting local partner businesses. I came mostly because I was curious. I’m generally not a fan of vegan food mimicking meat. I had the O.G. Burger. It was fine. Environment is cool and the staff makes sure you know you’re eating something vegan. I do wish they had something like a portabella burger instead of Impossible patties so people there’s a slightly less processed option. I’d encourage someone to come to try it, but I probably won’t come back just for myself.

👏good👏beyond👏words. After going there for the first time, I kept thinking about it for a week until I finally went back. The OG burger is amazing, and I got it both times. My family can agree that it is nearly a 10/10. We had everything gluten free too, and it still managed to be amazing.

So good, plus everything is vegan! We got an OG burger, the BBQ bacon burger, fries, and onion rings. Everything was delicious! We didn't get a shake this time, but I've had one at the downtown location, and they're really good, too. All the thumbs up!
