Cool place and tasty food - Edit
This place is a very small fast food joint, it was under a rock club and played good music. Food was big portions and good value. Fries were maybe slightly underdone for our taste, but overall we really liked the meal! It was the only fully vegan place we found (open) during our 4 day stay in Manizales!! So A for that!!

Este lugar es delicioso. Vengan con tiempo porque la comida se demora en preparar. Nosotros fuimos dos veces. La primera vez quedamos con hambre pero nos encantaron los sabores. La segunda vez, pedimos más, pero quemaron tanto la “carne” tanto que tuve que asegurarme que no me habían metido una piedra por equivocación. Pero lo demás estaba rico y apreciamos que estaba abierto hasta tarde.

Edit 2: We ended up back in Manizales, and went to eat here. It was closed during advertised operating hours. La Oveja Arisca nearby was open, and it was fantastic.
Read moreEdit: At the invitation of the owner, we returned to give them another try. This time, the cauliflower wings were definitely better - the batter remained adhered to the cauliflower. I'll upgrade my review of the wings to 4/5. While we were there, we also had a vegan hotdog and a plate of nachos. The nachos were decent, although there weren't enough toppings for all the chips; on the plus side, there was a generous serving of chips! The hotdog was amazing, and we would definitely recommend it. We also saw (but didn't try) one of their burgers. If that burger tastes as good as it looked, then it would seem to be a top choice!
Original review: We came here because we saw they had cauliflower wings. Turns out the wings were a disappointment - it was less a coating than a thick paste that didn't adhere well to the cauliflower, and the whole mess was very greasy.
To be fair, the lone employee admitted that she was new, so maybe she just didn't know how to make them...?

Fully vegan!! We always love that’s Spice is about 3 years old now and are converting into a cafe restaurant soon. We absolutely loved their empanadas de ropa vieja made from banana skins. They’re delicious and our local, non vegan friends (one meat eater and one vegetarian) told us they were not much different in price from meat ones you can get on the street. We all enjoyed them. We came back to try the aborrajados though and while 2 of us liked them (the non vegans), the other two didn’t. My partner and I found them to be very oily and the Not Cheese just tasted like boiled potatoes, which I didn’t think paired well with the guayaba paste. The staff happily took the constructive criticism though and they will be working on it. The place is small and they were out of a lot of items because of the Holy Week holiday, but would love to come back and try more! 4 ⭐️ for food and one more star for being fully vegan. 💕
