Finally someone has brought soy ice cream to Shanghai. This cute little shop is quite a curious place, with only 5 stools at the counter inside and the take away window on the street side, lit with green neon signs and minimally decorated with glass jars of soy beans on shelves. They serve soy ice cream, it's an unanswered question as to whether the cones contain egg, so you can have it in a plastic cup, it's quite unique, not overly sweet but tasty especially on a hot summer's day like today. Their main products though are soybean drinks of varying flavours from red bean to almond and walnut, which I've not yet tried but will update once I have. There's no milk on the premises so the only potentially non-vegan item is the ice cream cone.
