Unexpected highlight - Edit
Obviously, the nearby fully vegan nearby Max-Moriz is the top destination in Aarau. But if that one's full or you'd like something different, this place may well be your best option. The american menu has many variations and is diverse. Burgers only at lunchtime, though, and they don't mention the vegan one there. Also not sure about desserts. If you want to sit inside, a reservation would probably be wise since there is little room.
