Best Pizza - Edit
The Sora Lella Roman Vegan is a small cozy restaurant. We were served very friendly and courteous. I really liked the free wifi. I had the pizza parmigiana and it was excellent. I am not usually a lover as far as eggplant goes, but I had a feeling I would not be disappointed here. The best vegan pizza I ever had. It was delicious.

Great little restaurant with a family feel. We ordered pizzas and they were both amazing, Hands down best italian food we have eaten (including pre-vegan). Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Edinburgh.

I had the Penne Quattro Formaggi e Funghi because I hadn't had Quattro Formaggi in years - and wow, it was so good! I wouldn't have believed that a vegan version could taste so similar to the original! Bravo!

Homemade scrumptious food. Great accommodating staff. We arrived from London and were starving and they worked us into a table despite being fully booked. Meal was outstanding.

Good pasta - Edit
Had a 4 cheese pasta, which was good. I would have liked the portion to be a bit larger since the prices are on the higher side. I would still recommend it.

Not great at all - Edit
Considering the reviews and high rates of this place we were very disappointed by the food. The place is nice but the pizza and pasta were not even good, not completely awful but not good.
Read moreEven if we might have being unlucky that day with the kitchen, I can't imagine how other people can consider this as their best Italian food ever. I ate all around Italy similar meals, vegan and vegetarian, and Sora Lella is the least tasty restaurant I ever tried.
Pros: Nice place
Cons: Food is not worth coming, It's not cheap

Wonderful - Edit
Wow! We loved everything about our meal. Cheesy pasta was absolutely delicious, as was the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. So wonderful to have fully vegan Italian food, particularly the cheesy and creamy options. Lovely staff. Definitely worth booking - we saw a lot of people turned away.

Pizza + 20% off Lunch! - Edit
Stopped in for lunch for the first time and had the amatriciana pizza. It was amazing, so flavourful and a pretty big size. During the week they do 20% off lunch so it is definitely worth a visit.

Like being in Rome - Edit
Pasta cooked to perfection. We had the bucatini cacio e Pepe (a classic) and the pasta alla zozzona, which sounds like a big risk because it mixes three distinct sauces but omg it’s so good. We also had the supplì as starters and they were good but the mozzarella could’ve been more melty. The pizzas looked and smelled fantastic too. As did the bread basket we should’ve ordered. A new favourite I hope we can return soon.

Enjoy a Vegan Roman Feast! - Edit
I wish I could visit Sora Lella right now and taste the rest of the menu. The food was fresh, authentic, and served with kindliness. The location was convenient. The pricing was reasonable. Overall, I had a lovely experience.
Read more*what I ordered
*ZOCCOLETTE FRITTE ALL' ARRABBIATA E PARMIGIANO (SPICY) - pizza dumplings with spicy arrabbiata sauce and parmesan.
I liked the chunks of tomato, basil, and olives in the sauce. The sauce was flavorful and spicy! As for the dumplings, I was confused and not impressed. I liked the innovative thought, but the execution fell short. The "dumplings" were dense and hard to cut. When I think of a dumpling I think of something soft, and maybe stuffed with something. It was neither. I wouldn't order it again.
*BUCCATINI CACIO E PEPE - classic Roman pasta recipe made with parmesan, black pepper and truffle sauce.
The pasta was al dente and cooked to perfection! The sauce was creamy and rich. I would have preferred a bit more truffle. However, the truffle on the dish was tasty, yet subtle. The portion and amount of black pepper were both great. If I could, I would eat this weekly.
*SUPPLI ROMANI - fried Bolognese rice balls filled with mozzarella, accompanied with mayo.
Placing the rice balls on a bed of arugula was a wise choice. The arugula and rice balls made a good pairing, unlike the mayonnaise. The sauce for the pizza dumplings would have been perfect. Overall, the rice balls had good flavors. I very much appreciated the chunk of mozzarella stuffed in the middle. The fry was perfection. It had a wonderful crunch. The rice inside was cooked well; not mushy, and not hard.
