For dessert there are cakes, cookies, muffins, and praline. Reported to offer cow's milk June 2023. Please verify if cow's milk is still offered. Open Mon-Thu 11:30-17:00, Fri-Sun 11:30-20:00.

The owner has repeatedly been super rude - Edit
It breaks my heart to have to boycott the closest thing to a full vegan establishment (they still offer cow milk) in Konstanz, but the owner has been repeatedly rude (and racist) and I won’t overypay for small sandwiches.
Read moreEven if Konstanz is a city full of international students and tourists, the owner couldn’t get his head around me ordering in English.
I don’t expect workers to be fluent in English, not everyone has the meand to learn and I don’t think it should be a requirment to work in Germany. What I cannot stand by are the racist comments made by the owner, ironically in English, like “It’s germany we speak German” or “You still have not learnt German?” by the owner theat jumped in a conversation while I wad trying to order.
He has been extremely rude in other occasions before, like shouting at me to close the door behind me.
Pros: Only “vegan” food in KN

Riesige Eisauswahl - Edit
Wir haben einfach alles an diesem Restaurant geliebt. Das Personal war super lieb und hat uns bei der Entscheidung weitergeholfen. Besonders haben wir uns über die riesige Auswahl an veganem Eis gefreut. Mal ein veganes Straciatella Eis oder Amarena zu bekommen ist immer ein Highlight, aber vor allem Sorte Haselnuss hat es uns hier besonders angetan.

Endlich richtiges veganes Eis - Edit
Sonst gibt es meist nur Sorbet als Eis. Hier gibt es sehr leckeres richtiges Eis. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm. Die Männer am Tresen waren super nett und haben alles gut erklärt. Das Eis war preislich auch sehr gut. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.

We loved Sol and are looking forward to stopping by again while we’re still in the area! The woman at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful and was happy to give recommendations. I liked the self service system and it didn’t take long until our order was ready. I got the sweet potato soup which was delicious and I really liked that the bread served on the side was toasted on the grill for a nice crunch. We also got an ice cream cone for dessert which was also tasty. Great experience overall! 🥰

Bestes veganes Eis in der Umgebung - Edit
Fast komplett vegan, nur die Kuhmilch im Kaffee streichen sie leider nicht von der Karte, ansonsten alles plant-based. Es gibt immer eine Vitrine mit Kuchen/ Schokomousse/ Kokosmilchreis/ Brownies, ein Tagesgericht, eine Tagessuppe, Salat(e) und dazu das reguläre Menü wie Burger, Currywurst, (Süßkartoffel-)Pommes und fancy Dips etc. Im Sommer bietet das Sol die einzige Möglichkeit in der Umgebung, für Milchallergiker*innen wie mich, aus ca. 8 komplett veganen und glutenfreien Sorten Eis zu wählen💗ein Traum💗

Ich fand meine Currywurst und Pommes lecker und war froh, ein weiteres veganes Restaurant in Konstanz zu finden! Die Atmosphäre war sehr freundlich. Die Portion war etwas klein, daher ist es für das, was man bekommt, vielleicht etwas teuer.

We took a burger (falafel) to go and Apple cake. Especially the apple cake was very nice. Prices are fine and the place looks very nice inside. Service was very fast and they use a deposit system for take away if you want.

Read moreAls Tagesgericht gab es Asiatisches Gemüse süß sauer mit Tempeh und Limettenreis. Das Gemüse war leider wirklich verkocht und matschig, die Soße war nicht lecker und der Reis schmeckte null nach Limette. Leider fand ich das Tagesessen nur "ok". Genießbar, aber einfach nicht lecker.
Mein Mann hatte einen Sojaschnitzel Burger mit Pommes und Trüffel Mayo. Der Burger war gut und die Trüffel Mayo war wirklich sehr gut. Auch der glutenfreie Kuchen war echt super lecker. Restaurant ist vegan, außer Kuhmilch wird zum Kaffee angeboten. Alles ist wohl Bio. Selbstbedienung.

Viel Auswahl. Das Essen war lecker, aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Der Service war super freundlich. Der Laden bietet self-Service an, um möglichst günstige Preise zu ermöglichen. Man kann sowohl draußen als auch drinnen sitzen. Ich hatte den gyros Teller und den Asia Burger.

Had their pistachio and hazelnut icecream and both flavors tasted super artificial and not creamy at all (actually, very icey. literally felt ice between my teeth…). My friend on the other hand had fruit flavors and she enjoyed them.

Café mit tollem veganen Essen und wechselnden Tagesgericht. Alle Speisen und Getränke sind vegan (nur auf Wunsch gibt es Kuhmilch für Kaffee). Wir hatten Champignonsuppe, Asia Burger, Schupfnudeln und Apfelkuchen. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt! Sehr freundlicher Service.

I'm really glad to have discovered Sol during my time in Konstanz, as there are not many other vegan places. The ice cream was awesome, there are many vegan flavors that are difficult to find elsewhere. I came by at least once a week for an ice cream cone. The warm food could have been better, but on occasion the Tagessuppe was very delicious. The interior design is okay, but not super cozy. Sol also offers a variety of cakes and hot drinks as well as salads and warm meals.

Bei einem Ausflug nach Konstanz legen wir sehr gerne im Sol eine Pause ein. Der Schnitzelburger ist guter Standard, aber nicht richtig was Besonders. Die Süßkartoffelpommes sind aber unglaublich gut und verbessern die Wertung um mindestens einen Punkt!
