Excellent, authentic Indian food - Edit
Good-sized first-floor restaurant -up the stairs through the hotel entrance. There are plenty of clearly labelled vegan options and the food is delicious - well prepared and beautifully presented. We couldn't eat everything we'd ordered and they perfectly packed our leftovers. Prices are very fair. Highly recommended.

Das Restaurant über dem Hotel (durch den Hoteleingang durchgehen) ist stark dekoriert. Service ist freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt, ist aber schon eher scharf – selbst ohne oder nur mit einer 🌶 gekennzeichnet. Eigentlich ist alles vegane gekennzeichnet, bei einem Gericht stand aber Ghee aufgelistet. Ich fragte nach und es zeigte sich, dass es besser ist, auch die ausgezeichneten Gerichte explizit noch mal als vegan zu bestellen.

Great food, atmosphere – well, so-so - Edit
You can see the restaurant from outside through the windows on the first floor. Then you go up via the hotel entrance (there’s no sign for the restaurant).
Read moreThe décor wasn’t really to my taste at all – lots of orange tones and bright lighting. And it was quite noisy.
But: the food was very good. There’s a whole page on the menu dedicated to vegetarian and vegan dishes. The vegan okra curry was excellent. The service was good too.
I’ll definitely be back and will turn a blind eye to the décor...

Near the hanzaplatz, st Georg in Hamburg is a Nice Indian restaurant. Run up the stairs and fond yourself with slot of vegan options
