Not sin muerte - Edit
Their name (« without death ») is the definition of false advertising since they are not even vegan and therefore far from sin muerte, perpetuating misconceptions at the heart of the problem. That said, vegan options were ok though nothing spectacular, portions small/not filling but with a fancy presentation though at a fancier price. Sorry not sorry about their closing. Glad they had vegan options but don’t pretend you’re doing something you’re not.

Closing down. - Edit
Great food. A little expensive but the overall experience was worth it. Just unfortunate they are closing down after only a short while. Such a loss.

It was obviously way too expensive for the quality and quantity of the product. The owners were just trying to cash in on the "plant-based" trend.🤔

Great Vegan Options and Drinks - Edit
Was so enthralled with the food and experience here that I forgot to take a picture of the delicious food until it was almost all gone. The Chili Cantaloupe Dish was a highlight, though it’s honestly hard to pick just one. The Pita was also stellar. Some of their drinks have honey so check the menu or double check with your server but most are vegan and delicious!

Ok - Edit
Okay so the name kind of threw me. I assumed it was Latin food but it’s Mediterranean. They charge per pita which I thought was kind of weird ($3). The food was okay and I love love love Mediterranean but it was just okay…

Delicious food, great service, chill vibe. - Edit
My husband and I sat on the front patio of the Sin Muerte and enjoyed a delicious meal and some great Arizona weather! We asked our server what she recommended and proceeded to order her suggestions… we were not disappointed!
Read moreWe shared the Caramelized Eggplant & Cashew Yogurt dip! It was a great balance of flavors and the pitas were warm, billowy, and absolutely fantastic, you’re going to wanna order extra!
Next up, Creamy Mushroom Pasta, we may or may not have licked the plate… 😋
The evening was ended on the pillowy note of Fry Bread and we definitely fought over the last bite!!
We can’t wait to go back!
Pros: Unique vegetarian options , Great ambiance , Reasonably priced
Cons: Be cautious of surrounding area

Upscale tapas style restaurant - Edit
Let me start by saying that the pitas are incredible. Most dishes are already vegan or can easily be made vegan and the menu is very clearly marked. Many gluten-free items as well. The overall vibe is dark, moody, gothic church serving flavorful spiced Mediterranean style dishes. The plates were definitely shareable for two of us. The corn pasta was delicious with a nice heat from the pasilla peppers. The pickles were perfect. Crispy onions rings are craveable. .

Ok but not great - Edit
I visited the restaurant at 5pm on a Sunday, for the first time. They were short staffed, the waitress said someone had called out sick. The service was fine all things considered.
Read moreWe tried the Mai tai cocktail which was very strong and not sweet.
We ordered quite a few dishes and we agreed none of them were anything we would return for. We all have different palates but this one did not do it for us.
Hope you have a better experience.
Pros: Vegetarian menu with vegan options, Nice upscale ambiance

Fun new concept in downtown phx - Edit
Mediterranean style small shareable dips, most non vegan dishes can be made vegan by substituting items. Fun and easy for big groups. Everything was delicious! Just too pricey for the amount you get.

Shareable plates? That's a joke--there's barely enough for one!😂

Good but expensive. - Edit
The food was very tasty but very small portions, especially for the price. We spend more than $100 including the tip and my husband had a bowl of cereal when we got home because he was still hungry!
Read moreAlso, the name is misleading. Sin Muerte means "without death" in Spanish but there are items with eggs and dairy on the menu. The animals they come from are definitely killed when they are no longer "productive." 😟
Pros: Tasty, Good service , Cool atmosphere
Cons: High prices/tiny portions , The server brings the bill and stands there while
