Tasty pad see ew

I ate here today with omni relatives and we all enjoyed our food. The server told me only a few dishes contain fish sauce and assured me the pad see ew could be made vegan.

However – a guy at the next table asked for pad thai without peanuts. As a lunch special, it comes with salad with peanut dressing. The server said nothing to him about the dressing. After the server left, I told him and he immediately got up to talk to the staff. It's a little concerning that the server didn't tell him the dressing had peanuts but given time they might have noticed and notified him.

On a second visit I had the Pad kee mao and that was also delicious.

Thai is always a safe choice

Waitress was surprised that you can replace half and half dairy with coconut milk used in soup and curry to make vegan Thai Iced Tea. But now she knows something new and is intrigued. Since College Station doesn’t have many options for vegans, it is nice to be able to go to a Thai restaurant for some curry.

I disagree about Thai being safe. Lots of dishes, including peanut sauce, may have fish sauce and the curry pastes, including the brand most often found in restaurant supply stores, often contain shrimp.
I think stir fries such as pad see ew (without egg) are generally pretty safe.
