Shibuya really deserves 5 stars. It is not your typical veg-friendly place, as it has an extensive vegan menu with a variety of options including many delicious sushi rolls, bao buns, other appetizers, burger with fries, and even tempura Oreos with vegan ice cream for dessert!! Waitstaff are friendly and attentive, atmosphere is as inviting or more inviting than most fully vegan restaurants in the area. Prices are typical for sushi and south Florida vegan food. This is currently our family’s go-to place for special occasions, as well, given the pleasant atmosphere and variety of options. All vegans in Broward should try it at least once!

I was drawn to this place by the good selection of vegan sushi, pleasant presentation for the food and the nice choice for the location( on a calm plaza and just a few minutes away from a fields to look at the nature, so plan your date wisely)

But the plantain bao delicious and rolls were served well, sushi pizza could have also been a desert that’s how sweet is the taste.

If I could give them 5 stars I would (but they won’t allow cause it’s not a fully vegan restaurant) But they have such a huge separate vegan menu. I’ve been twice, the first time I got the Alanis roll and the second time I got the Brad roll. Both were AMAZING! I was so excited to see that they had a Coral Springs location but found out that they are closed. I don’t mind making the drive to Weston, but I definitely think they should open the Coral Springs location and promote. If more people knew this gem was in Coral Springs they would have so many customers! Love love love this place!

Some places just have vegan options so they can expand their options to gain more customers but Shibuya has a well thought out and creative menu that you really don’t feel like you are missing a each entree, appetizer and desert has been crafted to impress. I’m coming back asap would give it 5 stars if I could.

Vegan sushi unlike any I've had before! - Edit
When I hears about this place I expected the usual vegetable sushi and sweet potato rolls BUT! they actually make exquisitely nice rolls with vegan cream cheese and other delicious ingredients. The Brad Roll in particular was absolutely scrumptious. Pricey, each order of rolls is almost $20, but definitely worth a special occasion or treat.
