a break from all the touristy stuff - Edit
get out of the skytree and go over to this cafe for a smoothie, get away from the tourist trap... this whole area is built around the skytree, but if you go around the edges you find little places like this... I still remember the owner chatting with me... very friendly :)

Sekai - Edit
I didn't have any of the food/drinks here, but my rating is based solely on the fact that this place sells packaged vegan ramen by Samurai Ramen. At 800 Yen (~$8 USD), this packaged ramen is not cheap, but I think it's worth the cost. I had already eaten before heading to Sekai so I didn't try their food, but I will next time if they have something vegan (I don't think this was a vegetarian/vegan place, but they have some options).
Read morePS- This is super close to the Asakusa Shrine...if you go to that attraction, pick up some of the Samurai Umami Vegan Ramen! Likewise, you should probably go to the Asakusa Shrine if you go to this restaurant, it's a great, beautiful place.

Serves meat - Edit
So disappointed that they have changed the menu! I went an hour out of my way to come back here and the menus completely different and now serves meat. Ended up getting the vegetable curry but wasn’t that great! If they bring back the old menu with the soy meat you must try it! Going to the other location today to see if they have the old menu

Expected more from here - Edit
Not entirely vegan or vegetarian, but the staff are very friendly. Pretty limited for lunch options (4 different kinds of open sandwich) that's your lot. Coffee is nice but not at all clear which is the vegan milk and staff's English isn't too strong.

An option in Asakusa - Edit
I’ve been here twice and both times the menu has been different. The food is ok, seems a bit random and trying to be fancy, but in a canteen style cafe. Kind of expensive too for a small portion. Other people posted about a soy meat option, that looks delicious but wasn’t on the menu when I visited!

Fresh food with plenty of options - Edit
This is a great find if you plan to visit the Sky Tree - it’s literally right next door. There are plenty of vegetarian/vegan options and the food is fresh and healthy. The cakes taste better than they look!

Stumbled on this place after visiting Skytree. Both my husband (meat-eater) and I very much enjoyed the food. I highly recommend.

Vegan options rule - Edit
I went with someone who isn’t vegan & we both ate vegan in sekai cafe. The soy meat rules and tastes great with both dishes and drinks only coming to 2100yen.

Super delicious soy meat - Edit
We ordered the vegan karaage dish. It was super delicious! Maybe even the best fried soy meat I ever tasted. The waiter was very friendly and the meal was served very quickly. The serving could have been larger, but it was still reasonably priced. Unfortunately they had already run out of desserts, because it was late - we would have loved to try the tofu chocolate cake.

Delicious soy meat - Edit
We came here after a visit to the Tokyo Skytree and had a delicious soy meat meal. The owners were very friendly and spoke good English to help us understand the menu. I would give 5 stars if Happy Cow would allow.

Delicious fake meat and chilled atmosphere - Edit
This is a nice little relaxed cafe near Tokyo Skytree that serves a few vegan options. The fake meat tastes really good however I wish you got a bigger portion of it! It's a great little place to stop by if you're in the area however I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a proper sit down dinner meal.

Great cafe for lunch - Edit
I loved the food, perfect combination of soy meat replacements, varied green salad and tasty rice with lovely sauce. Mango juice was refreshing, but we weren't fans of the olive leaf tea even though it sounded intriguing. The service is so polite. I would give 5 stars if there were more options (there were 2, very similar ones). We paid 1000 yen per person for the whole meal and drink.

Great food very close to Skytree Tower - Edit
This was a very nice escape from the overcrowded Skytree. Just a few minutes on foot from the station or Skytree entrance.

Good Choice - Edit
This place caters to all diets with some sort of restriction, so they do serve meat as well, but all vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. The veggie burger and pizza were good. Staff are very friendly and there's plenty of seating.
