Nice vegan options - Edit
They have some clearly labeled plant-based options such as a Black been burger with haggis, Fisch 'n Chips made out of banana blossom, mushroom-arrancini as a starter and sticky toffee pudding as dessert. Very authentical pub and food, dogs welcomed.

Best vegan fish batter ever - Edit
We went there not expecting much ând were so very happy we picked this place for lunch. Thé banana blossom was fantastic, thé chips delicious and thé gnocchi good. Worth going really. Vegan choices are good

Pub was very quiet on this drizzly Tuesday lunch time although service was relatively slow. I chose the banana blossom fish and chips which I enjoyed with their homemade tartar sauce. Other options included the soup of the day which was carrot and cumin, and a mild Dahl.

Read moreThe curry was fabulous. The banana blossom was a little tasteless but plenty of salt and vinegar will help.
Onion rings were huge in portion. But it was too much deep fried for me in the end and I wish I got the curry also. Not used to fried food!
