Major aura here I’ll tell you that for free - Edit
Healthy, delicious vegan food. The black rice sushi rolls went crazy, and the raw cheesecakes. My bank cut my credit card off here after detecting “fraud” on my last day and I was stuck here for a bit and couldn’t pay which was slightly stressful but I mean heyyyyyy I could have just stayed there and been happy LOL

Very Rude Staff - Edit
The food was alright, but our experience was completely ruined when one of the staff interrupted us right in the middle of our meal to hand us our bill and ask for payment. I told her that was rude, but she didn’t acknowledge what I said and just continued billing us. We weren’t even asked if we wanted anything else, yet we clearly saw that other people were still able to order after. I messaged them later on to ask if this was their policy, but their response didn’t really address what happened nor did it feel sincere. What a disappointment. We’re never coming back.

Raw Pad Thai, vegan Kefir, average smoothie - Edit
If you are in Ubud and searching for vegan experience you should avoid to: Zest (fancy meal), Plant bistro (also western food).
Read moreHere is also Herbivore but this is completly differenrt experience.
I had a raw Pad Thai, vegan Kefir, and nex time I had Miso soup.
All good but my smoothie wasnt satisfied. The best was Pad thai and I am not big fan of Miso and Kefir… I dont know why I ordeded it 😆 I give it try… Vegan Kefir is rare but, I remmembered how it tasted before I went vegan… and the flavour is still same (still not my favourite taste) but really Rare to have vegan Kefir, I appreciate it!

Amazing - Edit
Absolutely great vegan food. Many raw options. Big portions that sate hunger. Often have events, live music, etc. Many homemade lemonades and drinks.

Only thing I would improve is the chips on the side, fries or wedges would go better😄

Great smoothie bowls! - Edit
I had two delicious smoothie bowls (on two different occasions) and I also took some dessert to go. Their carrot cake is amazing! 🤩 I went in the mornings and it was quiet.

Go for the smoothie bowls - Edit
This place rules. It’s more than a healthy restaurant, but also acts as a community center for vegans, yoga, and pretty much anything health or healing related. They also have free events and shows daily. All around a great place to pop into.
Read moreThey have a large menu of healthy dishes, but I find their desserts to be rather dry, and a lack of protein (tofu) on the menu. Still delicious, and the smoothie bowls are amazing for breakfast!

The "Salmon" gravalax was absolutely insane! Texture, colours and taste to die for. Highly recommended to try that dish!

To drink we got a chocolate on the rock, was delicious but a little too heavy for me, I struggled to finish it.
Pros: Creative food, Super tasty, Nice shop in the restaurant
Cons: Menu was a bit confusing

I like the name and the juice - Edit
I’m sorry to give a less than stellar review to any vegan restaurant, but I didn’t care for my meal (so much that I ate less than half). I only ate here once so maybe I was just unlucky. The juice was fantastic. They were way understaffed.

Great food but beware of how busy this place can get - Edit
The food here is excellent. For example, the breakfast wrap that I had displayed craftsmanship and didn't fall apart as I ate it. It was firmly cylindrical as I ate it and retained its shape. There is a lot of attention-to-detail that goes into making the food here. There is a huge menu and multiple chefs. The insides of the place had lots of fans, so it was a great place to go to escape the heat. I came once during lunch and the place was completely full of people, so I had to leave and come back in the morning when it was less congested, so be aware this place can get busy. Overall a great place.

Great food regardless of the OTTP vibes! - Edit
So other reviewers weren't joking about the "hippies taking themselves too seriously" vibe! It was quite an experience but if you can look past the 'performance' then the food is great and the service is very friendly. They have some really tasty and innovative dishes - loved the vegan cheese platter and the nutella toast - and some cool drinks, like charcoal lemonade. Definitely recommend eating here if you are visiting Ubud, just brace yourself as you walk through the venue!!

An influencer’s dream - Edit
We ate here a handful of times over a few days, largely as the location was convenient to where we were staying making it the closest vegan outlet, particularly during breakfast hours. The food quality was decent, though definitely on the pricier side for Ubud.
Read moreBy far the best part of eating here was being entertained by the behaviour of other customers. The hippy culture is strong here but it has morphed into a distinct Silicon Valley variant. Glancing across the room, is was a rare sight to find a face that wasn’t buried in a smartphone or laptop. Many customers appeared to be ‘working’ from their table having ordered maybe a single drink so they could sit and use the wifi for a couple of hours. Quite a few appeared to be capturing footage for their social media followers. This including watching someone trailing one of the waitstaff around the room filming them delivering dishes to tables. Seemed like the staff were patient and put up with a lot.
We tend to like and subscribe to the idea of keeping devices off the table while we eat meals, so found it very interesting how glued to devices everyone seems to be here. No spontaneous conversations with other customers occurred as we’d experienced in other eateries in Ubud, as others that were sitting at some of the larger shared tables with us would barely look up from their MacBook Pro screens.

Amazing vegan food - Edit
We loved our dinner here so much we came back for breakfast the next day! Extensive vegan menu, raw vegan options and superfoods in everything.
Read moreRecommend the cheese platter and tempeh burger. The smoothies are amazing and all the cabinet deserts look delicious! We found the chocolate soft serve a bit “icy” texture but still yum ! Live music every night is awesome and such a vibe! They also have yoga at 8am everyday!

Good food, very pretentious atmosphere - Edit
We got the omelet and teriyaki tempeh burger, and both were very good. Apple cake was decent, but not amazing. The menu is extensive and has lots of choices that looked tasty. As others have said, the vibe is very hippies-taking-themselves-too-seriously, but if you can ignore the sounds of people's chakras aligning, it's a good spot for lunch.

Too alternative - Edit
Unfortunately I can't agree with all the top reviews. The cafe was very cozy and the selection of food was large. The service took a little long, but it was okay. We only had cake, the selection was very large, but unfortunately it didn't convince us in terms of taste. The cake was super dry and didn't taste fresh, the chocolate coating was way too thick and everything was way too sweet.Although it was super comfortable, we didn't really like the atmosphere. The service was very friendly, but some visitors seemed a bit condescending and made you feel a bit uncomfortable.

A nourishing delight! - Edit
After a string of disappointing restaurants, we were delighted by SHF. It had a vast menu of standard and more creative vegan dishes, and I felt healthier just reading their descriptions!
Read moreWe really enjoyed the densely nutritious Peak Performance Bowl (of the day), the build your own smoothie bowl, and the creamy Croque Monsieur - rating each at 4-4.5⭐️. I also liked the Bomb latte, but was very full afterwards. We bought a key lime pie and a blue cheese from Treenut Cheezery (from their grocery section) to go.
Overall, it was such a great experience that we also purchased one of their cookbooks! When in Ubud, this place is worth a visit.
Pros: Delicious, nourishing food, A variety of options, Good grocery section

Great meal and atmosphere - Edit
We are visiting Bali, and we are staying in Ubud. We walked down to Sayuri and had a great meal. I had a mac and cheese meal, and my wife had a vegan dragon roll. We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. They were very accommodating. We ordered food to go, and it was packaged sustainably. The meal was great, and we strongly recommend it to visitors

Papaya sashimi sushi - Edit
I thought it’s a rather interesting idea to use papaya as sashimi. The sauce really helps to elevate the taste of the entire sushi, giving it a somewhat fishy taste to it.
