Fresh home grown food - Edit
Had a great time at Santhanee! Chatty and friendly owners. The place itself is really pretty and has good vibes. You mostly eat with all other guest at one big table. I liked that many ingredients come straight from their garden with no pesticides used. I personally found the food to be a bit blunt but that's maybe because I've mostly eaten heavily spiced Thai food the last days. Also, keep in mind that the menu is rather Western.

Sathanee is halfway between a fusion culinary delight and an eclectic art gallery!
The restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful garden where the owners grow as much of their own produce as they can. Of course you can taste the freshness and the care that goes into not just making the food but growing it too.
The restaurant and home is also built by the multi-talented owners, mainly through reclaimed wood and beach finds. A treasure trove come to life.
The food is a fusion of multi cultures, vegan and veggie friendly. I highly recommend the stuffed pumpkin and the wonderful lentil salad. Oh and the bread and inventive spreads are out of this world!
Such an island paradise… I wish there were more places like this in the world, but then I guess it wouldn’t be so special ✨
