Not bad! - Edit
I ordered the veg 마라샹궈 which was a little sweet for my taste (but I threw a slice of sweet pumpkin in there, so maybe that contributed to it).

Quick, cheap meal - Edit
Been here regularly and never disappointed! Make sure to ask for the veggie stock as described in the other reviews.

good - Edit
good hearty food, especially delicious during cold days. The vegan option is on demand and the staff does not speak english, so be sure to say 채수로 해주세요 for the veggie soup option.

Great place to enjoy vegan mala soup! - Edit
They have vegan option but you have to tell the server "채수로 해주세요"(With veg stock, please) as their default option for the soup is non-vegan stock. It can be a bit confusing for people who are there for the first time but you basically have to 1. Choose between vegetable stir-fry(마라샹궈) and soup(마라탕) 2. Take a basket and choose which veggies/toppings you want in your dish 3. Weigh it and pay for it (this is where you tell the server about the vegan option) 4. Choose how spicy you want your dish to be (순한맛-not spicy/중간맛-medium spicy/매운맛-really spicy). Plus I don't think the servers speak any English there. For toppings I recommend cabbages, bok choys, corn, different kinds of dried tofu, bean sprouts, glass noodles and thinly sliced potatoes! If you're getting 마라샹궈 then definitely get a bowl of rice with it ;)

* I'm not sure whether they use vegan 라면사리 (ramen noodles) or not. If you aren't sure you can instead go for corn noodles or glass noodles.
