Shakshuka! - Edit
This was one of our first stops in Iceland and it did not disappoint. There was a bit of a wait but once seated service and food was pretty quick. There are several clearly marked vegan options. I had the vegan shakshuka and an oat milk flat white. The bread that came with it was amazing. One of the best flat whites I’ve ever had. It was a bit pricey but to be expected for Reykjavik.

Delicious, worth the wait - Edit
This place is popular and there are two lines. One is to order pastries and bread to go, the other is to dine in. I waited about 15-20 minutes and it was absolutely worth it. The vegan shakshouka with sourdough bread hit the spot. It was delicious. I also got the Icelandic thyme black tea and it was amazing. I got half a loaf of sliced sourdough bread to go on my way out. So good. I ate it for the next few days of my trip with hummus and peanut butter and jam.

Fancy - Edit
Original: I came to this bakery before I was vegan and was in love. I was so excited to find on this trip that they now have vegan options. There were two vegan sandwiches on the menu; the vegan artichoke sandwich and the vegan open face sandwich. I ordered the open face but they were out of pumpkin and unable to make it. So, I got the artichoke. It was very tastey but I don’t each artichoke so I basically had hummus on toast with some pickled onions. Still good, just not filling.

On this visit in 2025 they offered vegan chickpea shashouka, avocado toast, quinoa veggie pattie sandwich, and chia pudding. I had the avocado toast with the fried chickpeas and chili crisp. It was delightfully spicy and had a fantastic combination of textures and flavors. I will always recommend this bakery and return on every trip.

Lots of Fresh Choices - Edit
The avocado toast was visually stunning and filling. The place is lovely inside, and my only complaint is they lack vegan pastries.

Very strong coffee tasty sandwich - Edit
The coffee was so strong, really creamy (with oat milk) and the sandwhixh had some many flavours that it was thoroughly enjoyed. Busy place though not enough seating for how busy it was

Great savoury options, no cakes - Edit
Decent number of vegan options on the lunch menu. The chickpea shakshouka was delicious (the sourdough it was served with was incredible) and I saw two vegan sandwich options: mushroom with mixed salad and cashew cream, and an avocado open sandwich. Non-dairy milk available for coffees.
Read moreUnfortunately, despite having a huge range of cakes and pastries, there were no vegan options. This was disappointing given the vegan options on the lunch menu
Pros: Good lunch menu , Nice atmosphere

This is a very fancy feeling coffee shop and bakery but unfortunately I have not found any vegan baked goods. Delicious cappuccinos though!

Yummy lunch options - Edit
Had a few good sandwiches to go. They offered open faced sandwiches on the dine-in menu that looked good. I got the chia pudding for breakfast with a delicious soy latte. No vegan pastries, but sourdough bread is good.

No vegan pastries :( - Edit
Popped in with hope for a coffee and cake. The coffee was ok, but despite some vegan savoury options, no pastries or sweet things. Lots of other places do in Reykjavik so pay them a visit instead until they up their game
