Gorgeous lunch experience - Edit
Delicious restaurant that also doubles as a yoga studio. Has seating inside and on 3 little balconies facing out onto the street. The chef sat me and verbally introduced the menu and his recommendations. Food was delicious and the ambience kept me for more time than I planned.

Food was amazing. Pretty casual. The server didnt have a menu but showed us 2 lunch options on his phone. Small location with seating outside for just 3 couples. Server was very kind. We paid 25,000 pesos / meal.

They have a menu del día for 15,000COP and the menu changes daily. You get soup, a main and a drink. We had pumpkin soup, which was delicious, and the plantain that was part of the main dish was soooo good! The owner is also super nice.

Bland meal made a little better by the price - Edit
We went here because of the delicious pictures of vegan hot dogs and the like. In reality they only had 3 options. Lunch of the day, a sandwich and a burger. We chose the lunch as it was only 16.000 COP. It consisted of a lentil soup and a plate with plain white rice, some sliced kale, apple, cucumber and onion salad, cooked carrots and some potato slices. Overall it was very bland and you could’ve gotten the same almost anywhere else, maybe even for cheaper. The accompanying pineapple “juice” was more like water with a hint of pineapple taste. Very disappointing experience only pulled up to 3 stars by the somewhat low price of the meal.

This restaurant has a good value set lunch as well as a small a la carte menu. The set menu changes every day and includes a drink (we had cold mint tea), a soup, and a main that included rice and vegetables. It was all pretty good and filling. There are fans but no air con.

Lovely spot upstairs with pretty balcony areas. Had a delicious falafel sandwich here that came with a really tasty black bean soup and plátano/avocado. The burger was really good too and also came with soup and plátano, and there was a good looking menu del día.

A must go to in Cartagena - Edit
We absolutely loved this gem. It has been our best meal so far in Cartagena. We got one of each item offered. An amazing lentil burger with a side of soup and a roasted plantain. The burger had creamy sauces, guacamole, fresh tomato and onion and was served on a great bun. Also a dish of rice with vegan protein and side of soup and salad. It was awesome. We got two beers also. Our whole check was 41,000 pesos (less than $15 usd). Go here !

Good vegan food, but a little "expensive" on saturdays - Edit
Nice vegan place. Good vibe. Sat on the balcony and had the saturday burger (which I think they serve every saturday). It was a good (reaally good) burger, patacones and a small soup. Cost 25.000 pesos which for me was a little too expensive - but I guess it is the normal "gringo price" many places (and it was good). In the weekdays the menu changes and should only cost 15.000 pesos. If I were to come again I would choose a weekday.

The lunch consisted of a huge lentil burger (fried), with guacamole, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a toasty bun. It came with potato chips (more like fries) and a green soup. Filled us up and we would go again! The restaurant is covered in posters promoting compassion to animals. Super cute and had a nice balcony view.

What moved me is that they are all activists and believe that it is our duty to protect the animals. Love them.

A Safe Haven for Vegans - Edit
I loved eating here with my partner! We're both vegan and I'm gluten free so eating out in Cartagena was quite a difficult feat lol. Finding Mar y Hojas was a life saver. It's a little pricey for Colombian standards but if you're American, Canadian or European, it's quite cheap and worth the trip! The meal was incredibly tasty, I loved eating on the balcony (the flowers were so beautiful) and the owner is amazing! All the workers are friendly and very helpful! The energy of the the restaurant was wonderfully welcoming as were the people. My only con was that I wish I had more selection on the menu for there was only 3 burger options available. But, that could also be my perspective as an American who's grown up in a extreme service society ^_^ . Either way, totally take a stop at Mar y Hojas if you're in Cartagena!.

Awesome vegan spot in the Walled City. We came here for lunch, they had a couple of different options that seem like they change daily. They were able to accommodate my wife's gluten allergy. I had an excellent veggie burger - one of the best I've ever had, and I live in Portland where you can get a veggie burger on every corner. Delicious sides and drinks as well. Great ambiance if you can get a seat on one of their balconies. Highly recommended!

Also real soy milk would be awesome to be able to enjoy at least one soy latte in whole Cartagena!!!

Had high hopes to this restaurant as it is the only fully vegan in town. Sadly went home disappointed. The food on the menu was pricey for being Colombia I would say (29.000 COP for a burger). No “meat”, “cheese” or other mock products available. The patty was dry and tasteless. We also ordered the menu of the day, which was pretty cheap (13.000 COP). This one was also tasteless and I counted 4 ants in the salad that I had to take out.

This is a cute little place in an old house. If you are lucky you can get a table on one of the balconies. The choice is limited to few dishes, because it is a small family restaurant, but the food is great, the portions are very generous and the staff will go out of their way to help you. I loved it.
