creo que es un muy lindo local, tiene una carta 100% sin ingredientes de origen animal, sin embargo probe la hamburguesa cheese y no me gusto mucho, era muy pesada y los sabores no eran fascinantes, también probe la lasaña y esta si sorprendió muy buena en conjunto con una salsa de tomate muy buena.

There is a full menu where most things are fully vegan and also an option for the meal of the day.
In the evenings they also serve pizzas.
There is no sugar used in any of the dishes or desserts and there are gluten free options.
The deserts are incredible!!
I ate here three days in a row.
Update in 2024: went back twice. Both times the chef was a bit rude and dismissive. I wouldn’t go back.

We had lunch here one day. It sits above a yoga and Buddhist type store, right off of Rua das pedras . The service is super friendly. It’s all veg and has vegan options clearly labeled. We had the burger and a vegan plate (sorry there are no pictures). Everything was really nice! Nice balcony overlooking the street too. we wanted to go back but time didn’t allow.😄

Best Option in Buzios for Vegan - Edit
Wonderful vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Búzios. Several vegan options on the menu. With the return of Italian chef Salvatore from the Puglia region, a huge range of vegan Italian pastas. We had the vegan four cheese lasagna, vegan bolognese lasagna and the risotto al funghi, which were all spectacular. There was also the option of vegan pesto gnocchi, using vegan parmesan cheese, but we didn't have the latter. The vegan pizza is wonderful, the result of a recipe whose dough comes from four generations, according to the chef. The vegan pie closed the evening with pizza in a spectacular way. Not to be missed, the experience is worth every penny, and be sure to sit on the restaurant's balcony!!!!!

A pizza vegana é maravilhosa, fruto de uma receita cuja massa vem de quatro gerações, segundo o chef. A torta vegana fechou a noite com pizza de maneira espetacular. Imperdível, a experiência vale cada centavo, e não deixe de sentar na varanda do restaurante!!!!!

I really wanted to like this place, since it's one of the few veg-restaurants in the region. The location is beautiful, it's on the second floor of a shop and has a lovely view of the most touristic street of Búzios. The menu has a lot of Italian options, both vegan and vegetarian. I wanted to have the four cheese lasagna but they didn't have it, so I had the bolognese lasagna instead. It was a huge slice, but it wasn't that good. Honestly, it was mostly dough, there was barely any meat to fill it. The dough and the tomato sauce were tasty, but I was expecting more because it is an expensive dish. I was full after the lasagna because of all that dough, but I wanted to give the dessert a try, hoping it would be better. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I had the vegan truffle and I couldn't really understand what it was. A tasteless cream with some banana slices and another fruit cream in the middle? I don't know. It wasn't sweet, it didn't taste like chocolate, it didn't satisfy me at all. So, overall, I didn't have a good experience, but I'm hoping it was a poor choice of dishes and that others are better. Not willing to come back to check it, though.

❌ BE CAREFUL WITH "VEGETARIAN" and "VEGAN" OPTIONS ❌ - Edit
The chef uses European-style cheeses as vegetarian when they are not vegetarian. Particularly parmigiano and also gorgonzola are not vegetarian because they require the slaughter of a baby calf. A quick google search will confirm and explain. When I tried to inform the chef, by showing him literally 10 articles from reputable sources, he became verbally abusive and said I clearly know nothing about vegetarian or vegan food, and he knows everything about these cheeses bc he comes from Italy 🙄😂. It doesn't require a PhD to read this truth, even though I have one. But clearly this truth is inconvenient for this chef so his only recourse was deep insults. If he doesn't know this fact and serves food that is not vegetarian as vegetarian, what else does he not know? What else is he misrepresenting? What else is he serving as vegetarian and vegan that are not? Are his vegetarian and vegan dishes so tasty because he actually uses animal products but pretends he doesn't? And more importantly, is your diet important enough to you to take this risk?

Não gostei, a atendente me ofereceu um prato que quando chegou não veio com o que ela havia dito. Questionei e nada foi feito. O prato veio frio, comida super salgada, pouca quantidade (fiquei com fome após jantar). A salada era uma folha de alface com duas rodelas de tomate.

Read moreIt seemed to me that this place is geared towards mimicking and replacing meat, not towards healthier options. So choose wisely.
I came for dinner, when I asked the waitress what can she recommend she said she hasn’t tried anything, after asking why, she looked at me, laughed, and with a face, said - because it’s all vegan! That immediately turned me off.
Sadly the dishes were tasteless, I ordered estroganoff which had no salt or pepper. Thankfully it wasn’t expensive but they did try to overcharge for 2 dishes instead of one at the end. The juice was really good though!
Feedback: please season the food and educate your waiters, it’s not helpful to the customer when they don’t know and quite frankly strange to have someone so not passionate about your food work there.

Las pizzas que hacen a la noche son lo mejor, y las pastas bárbaras. Usan una muzza vegana que es adictiva. Tienen comida vegana, vegetariana y sin gluten (aunque no creo que sea apta celíacos). El chef es un genio. Según mi flia (no son veg) son unas de las mejores pizzas que comieron, así que súper recomendado. Se puede comer por menos de 50R por persona.

I was very excited when I found out about this veg buffet restaurant in Buzios so I certainly wanted to go there during my trip. However, the food was not great. I've tried most of the 'hot' vegan options. Most of these were lukewarm/cold, overcooked and lacked taste. Rather disappointing given that this is the only veg restaurant in the area.
