Best spot in Philly - Edit

The quality of the food is FANTASTIC, and the price can't be beat (only $7.95 for lunch, $11.95 for dinner). Best samosas I've ever had, for real. All vegetarian/vegan buffet. This is truly a special place, no question. This is a family run business, they are the kindest and sweetest people you'll ever meet. The vegan chai tea is delicious, and sometimes they have a vegan dessert too, solji halwa, try it!

Delicious and so many options! - Edit

So glad I found it! Went for dinner which was tasty AND affordable! They were extremely friendly and approachable, happy to tell me which items were vegan. Many things are clearly labeled but some, like the rice, didn't specify. Almost everything was vegan except a couple of paneer and yogurt dishes. Best chana masala I've had and I've had a LOT of chana masala! I don't usually like sweets but I adored the sooji halwa! Will definitely be returning frequently :)

Also, listing needs to be updated to reflect that it's open for dinner 5:30-8:30 pm daily.

My happy place - Edit

Hands down the best lunch special in the city. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The family who runs the joint is so kind. I love Samosa Vegetarian!

Pros: Tons of vegan options, Cheap cheap cheap, VEGAN CHAI TEA... YEP

Great food and staff! - Edit

The staff here blew me away with kindness. When I walked in I asked the man who was tending to tables and the buffet if vegan options are labeled, and he said he’d show me my options. He immediately took me on a little tour of the buffet. All but about 5 items were vegan, so I was able to eat most items. He was so sweet that he not only made a vegan version of the pizza item that was on the buffet station but came over to my table to serve it to me fresh!

The food was tasty. Nothing was too spicy, and I say that as someone who is a wimp about spice levels.

Pros: Mostly vegan, Friendly staff, Reasonable prices

Cons: Not all items were labeled

Life Changing Magic of Chai Tea - Edit

Truly cannot beat this spot. Their chana masala rocked my world, their vegan chai tea changed my life. The staff is so incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can really feel the love in this space.
