Saffron is a great restaurant with excellent vegan options! Started with the vegan naan that was stuffed with vegan cheese. The main dish was the best part though, and I got the Soya Keema Mutter Masala. The flavors were incredible, good amount of heat and they even had vegan meat! I can’t remember ever eating at an Indian restaurant with vegan meat, so that was a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. Food is cooked fresh to order and prices are reasonable

Would have given 5 stars - the food was amazing! Kids loved the soya keema! The starters, mains and rice were delicious. The vegan cheese nan was fun, but it was just a slice of violife or something in the nan. I was hoping for something pretending to be paneer. The dessert was not hugely to our taste but it was nice there was something. Vegan items all clearly labelled, staff clearly understand. A relaxing experience

This place is simply amazing! The staff was so kind and the service was excellent. They had a good selection of vegan food, and we were even surprised to see they had vegan cheese naans…yummy!

Fantastic Indian food. Fresh, not greasy, really good vegan options (all photos vegan, if you call in advance they’ll do you a vegan cheese naan), super friendly staff, probably the best Indian food we’ve had in Algarve. Highly recommended.

We came to have dinner and everything was absolutely lovely. Different from other Indian places we’ve been too… it tasted a lot more home made and authentic. Even the spicy sauce had a really nice zing to it. We took an extra meal to go because it was so good!!

THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT VEGETARIAN. They have a vegetarian menu, with some vegan labeled options, but VEGANS BE CAREFUL: YOU NEED TO EXPLICITLY SAY YOU WANT THE VEGAN OPTIONS. Also ask the vegan dessert (coconut rolls) to come without honey.
