RUN Away! Awful. Served us CHEESE!

Awful experience, this place was almost abandoned, we where the only ones. Only one man there, who 'made the food' and served and everything. We immediately said we're vegan and that we don't want anything with lactose. We specifically asked for the garlic Nam, and made sure it didn't had any lactose. The men said okay, all good. He didn't even speak portuguese, we communicated in English. He served us the cheese namm and just told us at the end after we eat it...
All of the food was heated in the microwave, we could hear it from the kitchen who was empty.
In the end he still charged us for the Nam bread... And said 'oh sorry'.
And now me and my husband will probably be sick from our belly for 3 days because of this irresponsible person.
Really horrible.

PT- fujam, aquecem toda a comida no microondas, e ainda servem queijo às pessoas quando elas especificamente dizem que são Vegan e não comem lactose.
Experiência horrível!

Pros: Nenhuma! NONE!

Cons: Expensive and microwaved food. Tricked us.

Hidden gem!

Came here with my friend who is vegetarian. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Lots of options for both vegetarian and meat eaters. Very reasonably priced. We shared a naan and a rice and had 2 mains to share and this was the perfect quantity for us! We did come into the restaurant from the back which makes it seem that you’re not in the right place, so definitely better going to it from the main road.

Delicious food and nice staff

Delicious food that staff was kindly able to make vegan. They were very helpful and flexible. It is a very short walk from the center of town via R. Prof. Eng. Joaquim Vieira Natividade, which is on the west side of the big park. You just run up a set of steps to get to the restaurant. This does not show on Google Maps walking directions, but will save time walking all the way around the park. Definitely a delicious option in a city without many vegan options.
