Great food, minimal selection

They have a clearly labeled menu and knowledgeable staff. I had the curry and it was worth coming back for.

98% certain there was a piece of ham in the vegan coconut rice lettuce wraps I ordered so that isn’t a great first impression. Overall, VERY pricey (3 appetizers, 1 entree, no drinks: $80) and IMO mid, definitely not worth it as a vegan. None of the vegan items we had felt unique or particularly well done. I could get similar appetizers at a variety of other restaurants (Masa Sushi, Wasabi, Juju all come to mind) for either a Lower price, better quality, or both. The vegetable curry was very… potato. It became one note quickly. On the plus side the hostess and server were both very nice so I’d rate them higher on service if that was a separate rating. The lil ham chunk discovered after having eaten half of the lettuce wraps would’ve knocked my rating down to a 1 if the staff hadn’t been so accommodating on a busy Saturday night. I want to be forgiving of mistakes when restaurants are trying, but I also know that if my cognitive dissonance wasn’t as on point tonight I’d probably be sick to my stomach at the thought of possibly ingesting Babe.

Oh and the ambience: restaurant looks very nice but it was SO LOUD, just from other people. People at tables near us were basically shouting, not out of drunkenness, but because it was the only way for them to converse in the clamor.

Pros: Hostess was accommodating , Friendly server, Location next to park

Cons: PRICE, Contaminated food, Mid
