Veggie balls and risotto - Edit
I’ve been there two times and I tried the veggie ball option, which was really good and big portion. 🧆 The risotto was tasty as well, but not mind blowing. I was really looking forward to the vege burger, everything is vegan except for the buns which contain milk. But it was really good overall and I was even grateful for these options💫

On the menu is a special "veggy" section with no dishes marked as vegan options. The staff was friendly and said the burger is vegan and asked the kitchen: also the veggy balls can be made vegan.

The vegan vegetable "balls" were actually two pattys, they tasted ok, but the polenta had no taste at all. The best on the plate were the grilled vegetables. Very high prices (16€ Burger, 18€ vegetable balls). Thats probably a part of Opatija that everything is quite expensive. I would only recommend the burger, as many reviewers before, and dont triy to "veganize" the vegetarian dishes.

Read moreStaff didn’t seem overly friendly when I arrived around 5.30pm. I was on my own and already feeling self conscious and I got sat by the door on a high table. Awkward much.
Anyway the burger was nice enough, as per other reviews it came with two veggie patties, mine had no crispy onions tho!
Very small amount of potatoes it came with, the big burger was so filling though, didn’t need any more.
Bit pricey at €16

There was a fully vegetarian and vegan menu which had next to the regular side dishes plenty of options. We had the burger and polenta with veg and vegetable patty and were pleasantly surprised. Everything seemed very fresh and she servings were huge, could easily be shared.

Der Burger war mir zu fettig, ausser einer grossen Scheibe Tomate, den zwei Patty und der wenigen Sauce hatte er nichts mehr drin. Der kleine Salat kommt noch separat, war aber leider etwas älter und nicht frisch. Die Kartoffeln dazu waren jedoch sehr sehr lecker!

We've heard a lot of possitive reviews about this plae, but we couldn't get in 3 days in a row without a reservation. They were fully booked. So don't make the same mistake and book a table in advance

Burgers were delicious, very balanced in taste and size, filling and well presented, while we didn't like the starter that much.

They didn't have any vegan dessert nor plant-milk for coffee.
The vibe in the restaurant was a bit weird. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and the waiters were kind of distant. We felt like entering in a club not being part of it but they weren't rude at all it was just an overall impression that also our omni friends had.
The decor of the restaurant is elegant and posh and I would recommend it more for a dinner than a lunch specially if you seat indoors.

This restaurant has a decent selection vegetarian and vegan options. Really nice place and the staff were very attentive. The food was very tasty so definitely one to check if in the area.
