One of my faves - Edit
Rustle and still is one of my favourite spots in the city with immaculate vibes, multiple delicious vegan food options, plenty of non dairy options for milks, and even baked goods 😋 most things are labelled to clarify what is vegan on the menu, and they even make vegan versions of their exciting specials. The tofu mushroom banh mi is so beautifully balanced, fresh and satiating with well seasoned tofu and mushrooms, amazing mushroom pate, fresh veggies and herbs, and tangy sauce and quick pickled carrots. Little tip, they have several vegan cookies, you just have to ask since unfortunately they are not labeled. I know this since they used to be labeled but after asking on many occasions, I can confirm they still are vegan and some of the best cookies ever!

Love this Vietnamese café in Koreatown. - Edit
There are quite a few vegan options at Rustle & Still and the Banh Mi is great. I really liked the texture of the tofu. Nice atmosphere to sit down for lunch, especially if you can grab a spot by the window.

Favourite cafe! - Edit
I started coming here for the coffee and other drinks, and discovered the food is amazing too.
Read moreTwo must try drinks: the Vietnamese coffee with condensed coconut milk, and the ube latte. Both are rare finds in this city and SO delicious. The Vietnamese coffee tastes true to its traditional counterpart that uses condensed milk.
Their banh mi is also soooo good, I love the walnut pate and find it super impressive they make this in house!

My favourite vegan option in Toronto - Edit
The mushroom and tofu banh mi is hands down my favorite vegan meal in the city. I crave it all the time! Vegan options are clearly labelled and they have multiple options for plant milks: soy, coconut, almond, and oat. Nearly all of their drinks can be made vegan including the hot chocolate! They try to add a vegan version of nearly every food they release (such as the recent addition of a vegan meatball soup pot which I have yet to try!) Would love to see more vegan baked goods though :)

It's slightly more pricey than some cafes but well worth it for the delicious food and sense of community they bring to the annex/koreatown.

Super cute cafe with non dairy milk for their lattes. I had the purple sweet potato latte and the vegan banh mi, it was so delicious. I was craving it the next week so I ordered it on uber eats!
