A lovely vibe here - great vegan food, welcoming and friendly staff. We had main dishes of vegetable lasagne and english muffin, both well-presented and tasty. Then we had the fantastic vegan pavlova which was excellent. It was very reasonably priced, considering how high quality the food was. If we visit Chambery again, we will definitely go to Roots Cafe.

The place is cute and cosy. The service is welcoming and gentle. The food is good and the menu also has regular change. Really recommended for a brunch or just a beverage (the lavender ube latte was a blast!)

Malgré un peu d'attente (car nous n'avions pas réservé)j'ai beaucoup aimé ce restaurant. Le plat : burger type bao et leurs frites faites maison, était vraiment très très bon.

It’s a warm and friendly place to have lunch. The food was delicious. It was very busy and we were lucky to get a sitting without reservation as it was full when we arrived spontaneously (it seems very popular and gets packed, reserve beforehand is advisable)

This is really the best vegan café in Chambéry! A charming, vegan restaurant with perfect pancakes and waffles (be sure to try the veggie bacon! 🥓 ). The owner, Gaëlle and her staff are warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing and the music is super chill for studying, working or meet-ups. I had a great burger with fries, too, so delicious! 😋 Weekends get a little busy so réservations are recommended*
